I always say, "to understand why people love Twice so much, have to listen to the B-side" :)) Twice B-Side is incredibly colorful and (I think) so gorgeous. I have a main playlist, where I add the songs that I like the most and that I will never stop listening to. And more than one song from every album Twice has released in the last 3 years has entered my main playlist, without exception. I think their 2nd and 3rd full albums are the best, but their 10th and 11th mini albums are very good, you can listen to them and even shoot a reaction video :)) TMI: There were 2 groups whose albums I loved so much and became a fan of. One is Twice and the other is Guns N' Roses :)) they are a bit unrelated but there is nothing I can do, like this :)

Also if you like the rock feels in twice songs, i would recommend their lastest mini albums b4 this, Between1&2 and Celebrate(japanese). They're less rockier than this album, but still they absolutely make it work. If you like disco pop, latin pop, and multi genres album FORMULA OF LOVE is def the one.(its also one of the highest rated kpop album too,basically a masterpiece) EYES WIDE OPEN & TASTE OF LOVE are great contenders too. These albums has such diverse sounds and lit bit of aggressiveness that might make you start making twice playlist.

TWICE's b-sides are fireeeee. They also have a variety of songs and genres. Dahyun wrote the lyrics for Blame It On Me and Crazy Stupid Love. She always writes amazing songs. Lyrics written by the members are really really fireeeee. I agree with you on Jeongyeon's tone!!!! There's one song from them that she only have like one part, but she basicslly owns the song hahah. Like when you listen to it, you immediately remember her part. She's so good. Twice's adlibs are really crazy. It's mostly Jihyo on the background. Nayeon does it when Jihyo's singing. For cuter adlibs, it's mostly Sana and Chaeyoung. For calmer adlibs, it's mostly Chaeyoung and Mina.

They SERVED vocals for this album!! a As a once for 5 years it's so good to hear their new albums, bc we notice so many new things in their voices and the production. The thing you said at around 19:00, I totally agree. It's the cockiness of rock music that seeps through the sound of this album, with a bit of spiciness, and the inner confidence. I love it, can't help but imagine how it will play out at a stadium, like a Queen concert.

I can really get behind the idea of Wallflower touching on a lot of recurring themes. There's just something about the song and idk if it's because technically the members themselves have been both the Wallflower and the narrator in the song for each other, idk what it's due to but there's something about when they do these types of songs that just feels so incredibly real and just... transcendent to me. Anyways, it's so refreshing to see someone who gets it so fast and so completely when it comes to the girls, like you really do get it and it means a lot

So as a rap-line bias (Dahyun and Chaeyoung) this is my thoughts on the songs you reacted to GTT: it’s a song for us Once’s! They’ve said it’s a song for their fandom Blame it on me was written by Dahyun so that alone would be enough for me, but no, the song’s rock vibe is everything 🔥 Wallflower gets me dancing every time and I love the way it ends, it lives me wanting more, I usually end up playing it again. Crazy stupid love was also written by Dahyun and in my opinion is a vocal flex song Jajaj Anyways, thx for the reaction it was so much fun 🎉

I see a lot of comments complaining about the pausing but like this is a reaction not a listening party, Some reactors who got a lot of complaints switched up how they reacted to the songs. They listen to the songs twice, once with no pausing and light commentary and on the second listen there is where they break down the pieces and give full commentary. I just hope you won't get bothered by them and If it becomes too much you can try it so they can stop haha

36:25 (aprox) listening to wallflower I think of a person that at first is shy to dance but then gets "drunk" in the music and doesn't realise that it has ended.That abrupt ending with just the vocals feels like that person has woken up from that state but doesn't feel shy anymore and wants to keep going just a bit longer. Edit:Which is the same feeling I had the first time I had fun in a party, that's why this song is my favourite 😊

You should definitely check out Feel Special, Fancy You, Formula of love and Eyes wide open! These are definitely the best albums they've put out so far (and some of the best kpop albums ever in my honest opinion)

Such a solid album, but really diverse too! Their production is always so interesting and intricate. Plus Dubu lyricist always kills! Eyes Wide Open and Formula of Love are no skip albums too! Twice has such a large discography that I feel like they haven’t really done the same song twice (lol) - if you know what I mean (not counting the disco inspired songs, but I still enjoy those)! The B-sides are golden for sure. P.S. as a OnceMoo, if you are looking for amazing vocals, I’d strongly recommend checking out MAMAMOO too :) they’ve got some jazz inspired music too if you’re interested! My first RU-vid comment ever and of course I made it on the wrong video at first haha

I understood why i liked you to the point where i look forward to your TWICE uploads when you started talking about Jeongyeon's voice And i loooove your commentary so much, it's like a breeze after seeing shit ton of reactors that act like they know what they're talking about 😭 41:20 literally half of kpop stans until Feel Special and Fancy You albums came out. Their amazing achievements as rookies were invalidated because everyone thought they owed it to their "men pleasing" cutesy concepts, not only it's disgusting and mysogynistic but also dumb because girls enjoy cute concepts a lot too. When they switched to mature concepts and onces stayed, others realized it's not only the pretty faces, it's the bond we share, it's their music and talents that we love. Damn im boutta cry

You're the first reactor I've seen to really get the message behind Got the Thrills, almost word for word (the TWICE members gave an album commentary for the B-sides during promotion) 😂 Others try to overcomplicate it by speculating about personal relationships and whatnot--which is fine and dandy I suppose, a function of music is to help process our own lived experience--but like you said, given how the energy of the production comes off as a collective celebratory experience, it just makes more sense to see the song as something about the feelings and energy shared between TWICE and their fans during concerts! (and ngl, it becomes boring when people think every song is about a romantic/sexual relationship😅) Honestly, one of the best things about TWICE is how genuine their love for their fans feel and how connected they are to ONCEs, and nothing embodies that more than how the energy of the crowd at a concert feeds charges them up, and I love that there's a song celebrating that! 2. Same reaction to Blame It On Me...hearing Jihyo's belting note that first time was a religious experience, ngl. I REALLY need TWICE to do more rock. Also, as a fellow rock fan, you should check out their live performance of Queen of Hearts 😁 (BTW I LOVE the Jeongyeon appreciation, her vocal tone especially is 🔥🔥🔥... Wanted to point this out cause she doesn't get a lot of lines, especially for a lead vocalist, and people write it off as her tone not fitting TWICE's concept--I think it's wild to actually believe that huhu) 3. Love your analysis on Wallflower...the way you worded it--"seductive, to live in the moment"; "in this moment, it's just you and me"--really put into words how I felt listening to this. This song just feels really, really intimate :'D 4. This song (and Blame It On Me!) was written by Dahyun :D Saw someone say that Dahyun writes like she's been divorced 7 times and Jihyo sings like /she's/ been divorced 7 times, and I can't agree more, lmao, especially on this song. This time, I did see this song as more of a near-break-up song, but your interpretation of it's interesting and I did see it listening to this again! I also loved your comment about how Nayeon's belt felt like a note of triumph, and how the decision to have it fade really emphasized them "being gone", sorta blew my mind realizing that 😂 Overall, great reaction once again (it's amazing to me how you can stretch out a reaction to 4 songs to be nearly an hour long and yet still have all your commentary be interesting and full of substance dnkdksklee) and I especially love it when you geek out about about vocal stuff 😁 I feel like lyrically and production-wise this is one of their simpler albums, but vocally they /reallllly/ flexed their skills here. So excited to hear your reaction to their other albums! As a rock fan, I think you'll enjoy listening to their Between 1&2 EP, and as someone who likes production/vocal choices that tickle the brain I think you'd enjoy listening to the More & More EP, Celebrate EP (Japanese release) and maybe Taste of Love EP. I'm a hundred percent sure Crazy Stupid Love is indeed a breakup song, Dahyun seems to have a streak of songs she wrote about relationships, also the bridge feels like it envokes a feeling of being in a relationship and realizing it's time to leave it because it's not working.
