My mom and I did this as a duet at church back when I was in high school and we got a standing ovation! I look forward to singing with her again in Heaven one day!
Hadn't heard her newer rendition of the song. I guess it's okay. In any case it's a fabulous song. (Back in the day, Christian radio played a recording by the Bob Farnsworth Singers that is still my favorite.)

George Middleton, I do not believe so. Many folks believe Jesus is God. Yet God says He is God alone. His name is not Jesus. Jesus is "a" son of God but Jesus is not "the first born son" of God. Israel is. As per Scripture found in Exodus 4:22 “And you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus said יהוה, “Yisra’ěl is My son, My first-born, Numbers 23:19 "God is not a human who lies or a mortal who changes his mind. When he says something, he will do it; when he makes a promise, he will fulfill it. [CJB] Jesus was a man, born of a women, made of flesh and bone. So Jesus was not preeminent. He was a created human being as we are. So that also means Jesus is not the Great I AM. That means I always existed. I will become what I will be. He had no parents. Everything was started through יהוה YeHoVaH [YHVH] God. They also do not worship God in Spirit and in Truth. Trust is found in Psalm 119:142 Your righteousness is righteousness forever, And Your Torah is truth. They follow the "traditions of men" rather than God's Law i.e. Torah. God's loving guidelines and instructions.
