No because the Twilight Saga is actually hilarious and a lot of people think most of us watch it just for the romance and drama. Nah, these movies are literally hilarious to some of us.

I was NEVER a "true" fan of Twilight, but I've watched the movies multiple times - particularly the first one. Something about the tone, awkwardness, and teenage melodrama being completely unapologetic just warms my heart and makes me feel all cozy. It's definitely a comfort series for me. And honestly, I think a lot of people were wayyy too harsh on it just because it's mainly made for teenage girls, and society effing hates teenage girls for some reason....
Nah. I was a big fan at the time (13-14), read the books, went to see it with my friends, and we all died laughing. They were DOINGGG TOOO MUCH even for the target audience lol.
What people don't know is that no one makes fun of the franchise more than the fans. We know the books are problematic, we know the movies are cringey. We make fun of it out of love 😆 Also, say what you want about the movies but you can't deny the soundtracks are awesome.
I already know you’re going to be laughing through the whole movie Chu, I mean the fact that Edward Googled Adrenaline rush so that he can make an excuse always makes me laugh, Twilight has so many iconic lines

Chuuuu, you had me dying 💀💀😭😭. My 2 best friends and I read the books when we were in grade 9, became obsessed, excitedly went to see the first movie in grade 10, and ended up laughing our asses off! 😂 Even at 14, we knew they were DOINGGG TOOO MUCHHHHHH! 🥴🤭
watching this saga is a experience for SURE, it’s my favorite one, i wish i could watch it again for the first time. it’s fun and has a lot of drama i was obsessed in my teenage years, i hope you enjoy and have a good time chuuzus 😄❤️
Listen.. as someone that’s reading the first book this franchise had sooo much potential. Imagine my anger when I saw deleted scenes that could’ve potentially improved the movie. Like Emmett not accepting Bella and getting irritated at Edward always waiting on her in the parking lot. This franchise is a wasted potential masterpiece. The world, the vampires, etc so interesting also the Cullen and the other vampires back story.
Twilight might be really goofy but it's really entertaining. Do we all know that almost all the relationships in it are toxic? Yes. Do we all know that the story and acting is a little cringey? Yes. But are we all going to keep watching them for some reason? Absolutely. And also, u repeating that Bella's "not like other girls" over and over throughout the movie had me dying cuz that's literally her main personality trait 😂 she's an icon for being just so unbelievably unbearable haha
As soon as you said TVD and Damon I was like “compulsion” when they made the mortals/humans forget. When I first saw Twilight I was a teenager so all I focused on was the drama, angst, romance since I didn’t read the books in high school like everyone else. It was until later I realized this movie is comedic, they didn’t take some of the right dialogue from the books was my assumption. But who knows, love your reaction Chuuu I laughed right along with you. 😂❤❤

I love how much you enjoyed it The music is good The color grading in the first movie is so iconic and Bella's lullaby is chef's kiss. I have watched this series hundreds of times, I am a weirdo who has to watch the entire series everytime I start. I read the books, and I went to the movie premiers. It was definitely a moment in time. LOL There are things to still enjoy, even if it's just the music! All of the movies have phenomenal music.
an interesting fact! it was confirmed in the book "midnight sun" (twilight from Edwards perspective) that at 14:50, when Carlisle say "animal attack" and look at him, he's telling Edward that it was a vampire attack in his mind so that Edward could read it, that's why Ed seemed so upset and confused!

Hey Chu! I didn't know you had never watched Twilight, but I'm glad you reacted to it! As for inspiration, the Twilight series probably took inspiration from the Vampire Diaries. Both started out as books. The Vampire Diaries book series started in 1991, and Twilight books started in 2005. So TVD came out first, just like Damon met Elena first lol.

no cause twilight was my entire world as a teen in middle school/high school!!! sooo happy. such a fun non-serious fantasy series. I was OBSESSED, read all of the books & extensions several times growing up. Also NOTHING beats the reaction from the audience for breaking dawn part 2!!! cannot wait, please don’t keep us waiting too long chu!!! 😭😂💕💕💕
This first movie is soooo funny....I was kinda disappointed that the second one wasn't as funny lmao but they do get a bit better as they go on I guess. I was a big fan of the books though. 💜
