Collection of Secrets and Easter Eggs as well as some tips and tricks for Twilight Princess HD. Blue hearts are because of the ganondorf amiibo. Some clips have low quality because i was streaming at the same time.
2021 edit: I removed some of the clips which i dont see as secrets anymore, that is why the timestamps in the comments might not fit. Also if you liked this, check out my other zelda videos as well.
I remember finding the 2 guys looking at each other from across the alleyway. That's one reason why I love Zelda, so many details that make you laugh or feel intrigued, even when they don't actually do anything.
Josh Riley It might even be a reference to real life situations where we see people who have something in common but don't realize it and don't interact.

I may be a bit late for this But you know how if you have no rupees and you use the magic armor it turns gray and you basically have the iron boots on at all times basically while that’s happening yeah it’s pretty funny
Now I think Link made that part awkward. "Midna?" CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK (meanwhile in Midna's point of view) CLANK CLANK CLANK "...dang, that's Link isn't it??" Midna could hear that a mile away, LOL. I bet the people of Ordon heard his clanking! But I wonder what Zelda musta thought... CLANK CLANK CLANK "...you go, Link..." lol!
19:55 Midna: "What? Say something!" Link: "This gear weighs a million pounds. I'm hemorrhaging money and I desperately need to change, but there are two women staring at me."
i agree with you..all of zelda are good but for me this zelda is different...i dont know why..the story? the playgame?? it is fantastic!! i have the best memories..
Funny Happy Studios In my opinion this is the best GAME ever. The plot, the gameplay, the freedom and yet guidance. It's all just so perfectly balanced I think it's incredible. Really saddens me there aren't more games like it
Thats why Hyrule always gets invaded by dark forces 😂. Ganondorf and company only need to fight Zelda and Link (no one else) because hylian army is useless. The worst thing is that the only ones that could stand the chance against the enemies were the sheikah, and even so they were controled and condemned to quit their potential thanks to the royal family 🤦♂️. Botw basically shows this 😂. But I can't deny that it is funny to see them running away from a "lonely wolf".
For those who dont know; The blue hearts basically mean either Hero Mode is being played, Or the Ganondorf Amiibo has been tapped down on the gamepad, these will double your damage thus giving you the blue hearts. (And if you hate yourself; Combine the two for 4x the punishment.)
I remember finding some of these in the original with my brother. So nostalgic. Especially the 200 rupee, we were just curious if the bell would ring if we hit it. But when we heard the tingling sound we ran up there astonished.
This game has so many secrets, i love it!! There's a few you missed as well! If you look behind colin's house in ordon, you'll find 100 rupees that you can pick up with the clawshots. There's also a young goron hidden in the path of death mountain, in the area where the howling stone is. You can see the triforce symbol on the back of link's hand when he's sumo wrestling bo, the mayor. Also, if you try to steal from the parrot in the faron woods, he'll relentlessly attack you until you pay him. This may not be true but the dead tree above lake hylia is probably the same tree that was in OoT's lake hylia. I always thought that was a pretty cool paying of homage to OoT and to symbolize how much time has passed. You can also find agitha looking for bugs south of castle town during the day. I can't really think of anything else but i know i'm missing something xD
+55thebassman55 I knew all of them except the sumo and tree thing. But yeah.... I forgot to include them >.< I knew i was missing some.... Thx for pointing them out though ^^
The tree thing is super intriguing to me because it makes sense of so much. If you go to lake hylia and look up, it kinda makes it seem like the lake used to be filled all the way up to where the dead tree is, which would explain why the cuckoo house is so high up on the cliffside, as well as why the bridge of hylia looks all broken and eroded. It also explains why the rivers that you can travel up and down from have such high walls! perhaps all of zora's domain used to be underwater, and everything above the walls is what used to be there in Ocarina of time! Such amazing attention to detail there, I love it!
19:41 Midna: Link, this is an emotional moment for both of us but please, for the love Hylia take of that tacky armour and those annoyingly loud boots!
I'm pretty sure Snowpeak Ruins was a hideout/base for the sages (+ successors) after the events of Ocarina of Time. Queen Rutela's portrait appears, as she is the successor to Ruto. I believe the other portrait to be Rauru--based on the mustache, the red & gold robes, etc.
True he has similaritys to rauru. But why is he next to queen zora? Also those 2 persons are the only ones on the various pictures in snowpeak ruins. There are no other sages. Thats why i think it could be King zora.
*For all the people considering disliking this video: Please read the description and this comment. If you dislike this video PLEASE tell me why so i am able to improve myself. Are the transitions annoying? Is there stuff you don´t count as a secret? So unless you aren´t a person who dislikes every video for no reason, please tell me you´r reason : )
Recommend fixing the transitisons, it felt kinda odd with a white screen with Link on it and a chest sound. However, that's just me. In over all it's a pretty nice video :)
+Rockypocky „Puffy“ Puff I noticed as well that after a while they got kinda annoying. But i wanted to tell the people what to look for, before the secret itself starts. I did choose the picture because it´s very easy to read the text on a white background. And i know that I could have just made the transitions soundless but i wasn´t sure if that would be boring as well...... Anyways...... thank you for telling me you´r opinion : )
Worth the watch. So nice to see these little easter eggs in this classic game I love so much. Love the little details and the dog I got to play fetch with.
Why the hell are there so many dislike? This dude worked hard to get this footage only to get disliked for no justified reason at all. Why? So fucking ridiculous. Good job Sumiles I enjoyed the video keep it up.👍
+DuSKullHYDE Thank you very much =^^= I worked hard indeed. I also tried to ask those people for the reason but i still don´t really know it. I think some people got annoyed by the transitions :/
11:20 it is also possible for your horse to kill an enemy without you even being on her! just let a enemy attack her and epona will face the enemy and then begin to panic when she jumps up and comes back down that can harm the enemy and will knockthem back it might take a minute or 2 but it will eventually kill the enemy! i reccomand trying this at kakariko bridge, the one you have to teleport in early in the game.
I have one more for you ;) : 1. Go to the fishing pound 2. Make sure it's summer inside the pound 3. Take out the bobber rod, cast it on the water, don't move... 4. It may take some time, eventully a dragonfly is going to stand on the rod
cool fact: once you get the boots, every Link cutscene (not wolf) would be really loud if you pyt them on before you trigger it. for examlle, try entering Ganondorf's throne cutscene with the boots. He will push midna back once he posseses Zelda, which causes Link to run FASTER than the last custscene
Have you tried putting away your sword after defeating certain enemies? Link does a special animation after doing so, the same one he does after defeating a boss. The enemies that this works on are bulbins, skultulas, red deku babas and lizafos. To activate the animation you have to instantly put away your sword after defeating these enemies.
Just played my second play through of this game. I love getting to know these characters and eventually saving them. This game is so good, maybe the best Zelda game.
Midna: "What? Say something! Am I so beautiful, that you no longer have words left?" Everyone Else: "But he never said anything... 😑" Me: "SHH! Don't question it. It's Zelda."
This is a good video, ignore the haters. I havent played this game since it came out (original version back in '06 lol), so a lot of these are memory-refreshers for me, LOL.
It's all the little things like these that make this game so truly amazing! I didn't know about quite a few of these. In the future I'd definitely slap a *Spoiler Alert* before that last clip since a lot of people who watch this probably haven't finished the game yet. No complaints aside from that! Great video, thanks for sharing!
I've played through Twilight Princess enough times to know almost everything on this list. But until this day, the one at 4:40 has completely eluded me! What the heck! I always thought you had to just time yourself with the cuccoo on that rotating platform! >_< Also, where was the fishing spot at 7:40? The one where you caught the boots and rupees?
i did lmao, it's funny it's just like the purple chu jelly you get sometimes, unpredictable, most of the time it'll hurt ya but the soup from Coro has a pattern. the first time you taste it, link makes such a face, it'll hurt him, but it'll also sometimes heal him, however you can't kill him with the soup. *i've tested it, tried and true* . you can get down to 2 hearts before it'll heal ya again and it just follows the same pattern over again.
And very good video :) Thank you for making this, so I learned some things about the game. And some things are really funny (let Link run with the metal boots and the ending) xDD
