me and my sister went on this ride for the very first time! it was sooo crazy! but we loved it i think it is the GREATEST thing disney ever created! btw great vid!!
I miss this ride so much!! I remember my first time though-I was like 6 and I was so scared I was jumping at everything-The bellhops that would stand right behind the doors, the lightning in the TV room, etc. I remember holding onto my dad's hand for dear life before we got on-and I sat by my grandpa and he grabbed my leg and screamed while we were waiting for it to start and I flew! They all laughed at me, but I got the last laugh when it was over and I said "LET'S DO IT AGAIN! :D"
Jeez! That ride was so Awesome! My friend and I were freaking out since it our first time on that ride! It was the one in MGM Florida. I swear, when it dropped, I started to float up a bit! God I want to go on that ride again!
The part that always gets me SO excited is when the doors close and the elevator becomes dark and you hear the voice. I always bounce in my seat hahaha
My group and I rode this last Friday morning when I went to Disney World. It's an AWESOME ride! The suspense makes things even scarier. And when we (rose and) plummeted, all I could do was scream and hang on... Afterwards, I said, "Maybe I'm nuts, but... let's do that again!" My group and I rode it again later that evening!
Man, good job managing to film this! I couldn't even manage to stop my mouth flying open on the way down! Rofl. My mom and I rode this four times, an the ToT case members let us stay back and be the last riders! Just the two of us in the cart - pretty freaky experience! I still have dreams about this ride. lol
AHHH! success! It still brings me chills to watch it. When I first went on it at California Adventure. No one told me what it was like. It scared me so bad that I couldn't stand up afterwards. SO AWESOME! I'm going back in November for Bat's Day. Seriously can't wait to do it again
I love this ride so so so much!!! My sister and my friend and myself always went on this ride like 15 to 20-30 times a day it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! I miss this ride i want to go back!
Omg this brings nostalgia! I remember when I was around 6 or 8 I'd hear the scary theme music to this ("Neeno neeno") and I'd thought it'd be fun, then I got scared the bejezuss outta the ride when I saw for what it really was... God, that ride scared me! And every time we went to that Disney resort, I can hear the music and I'd cling to one of my parents and say to them "No more neeno neeno!". Anyone who was there would remind me of that song and how I'd say it...
I just went on this for my first time about 2 days ago! I just got back. It was my first time and i was seriously scared shitless and i'm a 14 year old dude. When you first go in you go in a library and you watch this video explaining the story and then as you're waiting for the elevator you can feel all the anxiety and excitement, along with being scared! First time riding it i was scared shitless! BUT HOLY MOLY IT IS SUPER FUN! I rode it about 4 times and still scream every time it drops haha
When I first heard this I was like "OMG MUST GO ON IT!" and I didn't get the chace until like 3 years later. I'm a little bit of a wimp when it comes to rides so I was shocked I went on it. But, when I was on it I was cligning to my mom and screaming so bad. I get off and I'm all shaky. It was amazing. I want to go back again. My face in the picture was priceless xD
I'm really glad videos like this exist, because I don't think I'll ever go on this ride again. Just way too much anxiety/panic for me to do it. But still love the atmosphere and the visual effects!
OMG! I still remember how my friend tricked me into getting on this ride!. They told me all the ride was about was getting on, going all the way up and looking out the wall, and then coming back down, nice and slowly. no sudden drops, And i felt for it and almost died XD
I heart T.o.T! Honestly, the set up for it, is scarier than the ride. In class, we watched a Twilight Zone episode and when they said you have just entered the twilight zone, everyone in my lit class went Tower of Terror! Ehmagawash I love that ride!
I was sooo scared on this ride! I started crying! It didn't help that I was afraid of stuff like this and that my friends LOVED it! I sat out the second round
The thing that always creeped me out was the fact that you're literally falling faster than the speed of gravity because of the connector cables under the car pulling you down.
I totally screamed on my first time on this. My brother was all like "it doesn't drop until you get to the top and the doors open to the view outside" ...LIES!!! It drops before that and I had no idea! AHHH! lol
This Tower of terror, was DEFINITELY Terrifying! I Live in florida and go to WDW often and ours is cute but when I went to DCA and rode this.. I was legitimately screaming for all hell!! This one is well done! :]
I went on to CA last summer, it was so funny when we went on this ride, everyone in my family is screaming except my Aunt and Uncle. They were just smiling as if it were a family portrait. XD
I went to a dance camp in DisneyLand and I got to see the back of the Hollywood tower before we had to dance in the DisneyLand's California Adventure's Parade!!! ;)
I heart T.o.T! Honestly, the set up for it, is scarier than the ride. In class, we watched a Twilight Zone episode and when they said you have just entered the twilight zone, everyone in my lit class went Tower of Terror! Ehmagawash I love that ride! The last time I went on this ride was 2/23/11. I'm going to Dland again in February. Can't wait x10000000!
March of 2007, I went on this ride with my mom in Anaheim and after going on the ride for the first time in my life, I went on it five other times within a three day period. Cannot wait for the next time I come back, if I ever do come back.
gosh i remember the 1st time we went to this ride when it first opened....we were siting all the way the back....i almost got a heart attack!! but i love this ride....looking forward to go back again.
I rode on it last year. it was totally awesome! My brother won't let me go...he kept on pulling my arm and I wasn't able to cling on to the handles of the seats!
Once I went on this ride with my dad back in 2010, these people were giving out fast passes for two people! It was the luckiest moment of my life because the line was long !
for some reason i got the creeps when you were in the boiler room and the creepy voice over the loudspeaker was saying "and please....do take care to supervise your children..." that never freaked me out when i was actually THERE. :p
Im going to Disney for my first time very soon and im so exited. My parents talked about this ride so many times- I had to watch a vid about it....l -note to self... eat nothing before going on this ride-
I REALLY want to go on this ride, I really do, but I know that I would hate every minute. Sadly, roller coasters aren't my thing. While riding, do you really have that one strap across your torso? Nothing else holding you in?
the Tower of Terror is in California Adventure Park, which means you need Adventure Park tickets or park hopper tickets, if you are going to Disneyland Resort in California. If you're going to the Florida Disney World, you will need Hollywood Studios tickets.
I despise rollercoasters and the likes, yet I got tricked onto this also. Scariest shit I've ever done. The suspense was brilliant, I'd give it an award for that alone, but holy shit was the drop a surprise and a half.
omg when i first went on it i was shaking like a leaf but its my favorite ride and i have been on it sooooooo many times xD it was funny hearing my dad scream OH SH**
This ride is awesome, it helps take my mind off things. Like I had a fever the day I went to CA adventure [i just had to go. couldnt resist] and i felt sick the whole time until I boarded the ride and the sick feeling was gone!!
I just went to Disneyland and California Adventure, and I knewni was in trouble when I got on this ride. As fun as it was, thismwas th scariest thing I've been on!
okaay, i actually felt scared all over again just by watching the video.. it felt like i was riding it myself !! haha, i did cry when i first went on it. ..this ride is so awesome though. XD
I went on this. I felt like every cell in my body was hopping up and down, I was clawing the heck out of the man next to me, but he was just yelling w/ his friends "OH HO HO!" (:
I was so miserably paranoid during this ride. Like I kept thinking we were going to drop and we wouldn't. Then the next thing I know, we're dropping without me being ready. Good ride though in the end!
Im going to disneyland next week for fall break, the last time i went was October 8th 2011 and i LOVED tower of terror. The first time i was so scared but now I cant wait to go on!!! October 7th come already!!! xD
I was terrified going on this ride last year while I was waiting in line... It didnt help that they were wheeling out a lady that had passed out in the line, later on it turned out she was extremely dehydrated. Just looking at the ride made me feel nauseous, but I got over myself and went on it anyway. It was so fun I went on it twice in a row! The unexpected drops are the best part. I would have gone on it many more times but the wait is always long.
wtf? was this filmed before the ride became "5 dimensional" with a randomly computerized/generated path throughout the building? its supposed to go up/down (like in the video) and the car is supposed t o go forwards/backwards, left/right, and diagonal. & youre supposed to ride through the whole building.. or is it only the one in florida?
