I know tons of other channels doing videos on expensive things & most of them are given free. ..to do reviews on and such to let a lot of people see their " toys ". A few even send out these freebies to multiple channels. Just wondering if you guys have to spend your own hard earned or otherwise money on these.

If anyone out there knows how to get these for FREE please tell us! That would be so awesome!!! Wow, can you imagine doing nothing and someone just handing you something for nothing? Never in my life has that happened to us. Abby and I work so hard for every dollar to our names. We actually do donate a majority of the “China” brand stuff that we Work Hard for just because we can’t keep everything we have. Since when has the world gone so sour!? You understand it has taken nine years of hard work to get here, right? And if this boat, or anything else you see on our channel that you assume is “free” then I ask you one question: why don’t you have one too if it were free?

@@TheRcSaylors first off, I apologize for the comment that said- $700 for a boat, and the idiot just drops it in.. personally, a $700 boat would be set ever so gently into the water from my hands, as I too work very hard for my money... but to each their own. Now to the comment of do you pay for these, or are some of them free?... I recently got into lasers with my son as a hobby, and along the way found a few RU-vid channels that do in depth reviews on these. Again, the same question arose to me- wonder if some are free. So I reached out to the guy and wow! was the next word out of my mouth. Indeed they did send him the lasers for free! When one goes to the laser website, you can actually see that they are using his videos to show off their products, shipping times, lasers are tested by this guy, proving that from a consumer's private test, they are what they say they are. A different guy does the same thing on his channel- he is sponsored by a lot of people and gets a lot of stuff for free from them.. I mean, if you already have a channel, and do videos, it is and was quite smart of the companies to give free products- it sells more products. It gets the word out there from people who buy- not just sell. It's just good business. Millions of freebies are given out all of the time for this purpose- been going on for decades. I would definitely reach out to the boat and car makers if I were you- because of YOU and YOUR channel, my son and I are looking to get a car and a boat, EACH. - the problem is.. where? who's got the best? Who to stay away from? Who to trust? If only there were a RU-vid channel that did reviews, that would do it. That would explain tons. You see, IF I were a company, I'd want to find a channel like yours and yes- give you some free products to review so it would help us both out. Just like the guys did on their channel. All of the money you've already spent on them, you'd think a company would see a video you send them showing your reviews, and want to do it is all I'm saying.

I have this boat. Do you need to buy a separate cable for four batteries longer run time ? The one that comes with the boat says it's a series connector for running only two 3S batteries. Series doubles the voltage ? So I don't understand the difference between just connecting one battery to each ESC over plugging in this adaptor for two batteries ? Isn't it the same thing ?

I'd like to know what you've done and some video w/gps. I've been chasing 100mph with this platform and I can't stretch it out that far, even going with 150a ESC sharpened balanced performance props, OSE shafts and hours of tuning..You've got a unicorn 🦄

That pin makes perfect sense! I’ll have to take a closer look. This was a maiden run for us, so we are bound to make a rookie mistake like that. Hopefully, people can understand why we thought it was a rudder saving mechanism. And yes, we do have and use recovery RC boats a LOT on our channel, but this is fun too using a kayak! We’ve always said one of the most fun ways to enjoy RC boating is also done while on a boat of some kind, especially a low on the water kayak 👍😁😎⚓️

Should be manufactured with a spring return on the rudder, instead of a shear pin

@@ohiowalnut sheer pen is perfect it does it’s job it breaks when something hits it. It’s spring could cause the rudder to move out when going fast from pressure and not give good control.

@@ohiowalnut thanks! Lol rudder is pretty important on a boat, kinda need it to turn and not move but the sheer pin is perfect because when you do hit something you don’t tear the transom off! That’s never fun lol

@@ohiowalnut no, problem with a spring is as the boat goes faster and faster the pressure from the water will literally pull the rudder back to the point you have no rudder control. The sheer pen is great as long as you don’t throw it into the water word it’s only 2 inches deep and smack the rudder lol

I have one. Can you help me understand the series or parallel adaptors though ? Is it running in series with two batteries, say two 6S batteries ? Doubling the voltage. Then running them in Parallel I'm guessing this allows four batteries and longer running times with more MAh ?

Do you mind telling me what prips you used? I would appreciate it!

@@TheRcSaylors was thinking more about this boat, is their away you can use each ESC separately, then if you broke the rudder, you could use reverse on one and forward on another to at least point in the right direction, or maybe some kind of differential thrust. 🫣
