@@hilljackzack7284 LLY and LB7 are actually pretty similar if you look closely. The short blocks are identical. The heads are a little different, due to different injector design, and there is a different turbocharger. And an EGR. Other than that, everything else is the same.
@@ak14619 I like the sound of all 3 but I'm biased for obv reasons. Some people think the 6.0 sounds like a wet fart, or a robotic mountain lion. To each their own 🤙🏼 as long as you're rollin a blue oval
@@NutButDontTella They absolutely sound like a wet fart if you have a cheap little straight pipe. If you want good sound you need a high quality 4" with a small muffler or dual straight pipes.
@@ak14619 the only way to go is 5 inch on everything. Best system hands down. Spend a lil extra and get that sound you didn’t know you wanted. Turns 6.7s into 6.heavens.
The 6.4s are very fast and they can make lots and lots of power and torque when you modified them but everyone knows they are so unreliable and if you ever get one your not getting it for reliability your getting one to make a great Race fun diesel truck😂❤ and enjoy every minute of it while it lasts until it breaks down
Don’t ever let the oil cooler go, and don’t ever let your oil change go past 5k and run a good oil that thing will legit run for a good minute obviously watch egts that’s what kills pistons & not good oil cooling the pistons
A good tune and DPF EGR delete. makes the truck run reliably and fast w good mpg and egt's. after that all you need is a good radiator and good oil! do ur maintemence. i've had no problems and i'm at 260,000
Are the 6.4 twin turbo ? I'm still stuck with my 02 7.3 😂😂😂 but I love that truck it's still mint condition no rust what so ever with 220k it's just something I'll never EVER get rid of I call her Ole reliable never left me stranded anywere
