That is the mark of a classicaly trained theatrical actor. It's why ALOT of the actors from the 70s, 80s and 90s were amazing, they had all that training. What you have now, is planks that have grown up in those families that just got the job, and doesn't it show? lol "i play, ME like all the time its just so deep and meanin-" nope, its shallow and you don't know how to play a character.
Sam Clegg She was one of the cast members most active in making sure David and Showtime worked out their differences, so by implication that suggests she will be. (I hope so too! :D )
Sam Clegg Madchen will be back, from what I understand.. I got the chance to interview Sherilyn, Kimmy, and Dana recently as a part of the campaign to #savetwinpeaks. We were going to continue the interviews (Sheryl was next), but then David announced it was coming back, so we (Twin Peaks Worldwide) didn't do anymore. It was disappointing, but at the same time we didn't care because the show was back!! The videos didn't get many plays, but Kimmy told me that she and Sherilyn got a chance to show him what they were doing with us (he was at the dinner where the four of them took a selfie), and how the world wide phenomenon is still alive and well. It is pretty humbling to know that he even saw *part* of them!
Love these two ladies. They seem like everyday people, so down to earth and not full of themselves. I didn't realize what a great sense of humor Sherilyn has. She's a riot.
Sheryl was truly mesmerising as Laura Palmer in _Fire walk with me_ - You always hear phrases bandied about like "She/He was so powerful in that movie / role" : With Mrs Lee in 'Fire' I see *truly* exceptional, powerful acting.....I really believe that movie _will_ come, in time, to have the broad love and respect it deserves.
@@jamiepaulhume1659 Yeah, D.L. can get such good work out of his actors! - But I think his career best has got to be Richard Farnsworth in Lynch's 1999 movie 'The Straight Story' - just mesmerizing, tearful power in that film - One of Lynch's finest imo (and as an Englishman, movies don't generally get too many tears out of me lol - but that one knocked me flat!)
That scene where Sherilyn dies in Wild At Heart was so sad.The writing and directing by Lynch really conveyed the thought process of someone receiving a concussion and brain damage.
What genuine people these fine actresses are. I only just recently got into Twin Peaks since its on Netflix but i wish i started earlier. Totally want to visit Snoqualmie now with the diner being remodeled. Cant wait for the new season.
Another great Twin Peaks interview. Both these iconic ladies are always so good to listen to and it will be a great continuation of the series. Cant wait.
There are never talks about Frank Silva as an actor. I feel it's highly unfair. It is not a likable character- but you will never EVER forget his face if you saw it once as BOB. Even if BOB is the only role he played -it made him famous all over the world for ever.
@@jamiepaulhume1659 I agree with you on that sentiment. There was nothing redeemable about Killer BOB at all. He was the embodiment of pure spiritual evil who thrived on human misery. I agree that Frank Silva pulled it off magnificently with this performance but it doesn't make me hate BOB any less. To this day I have never hated a fictitious villan more than BOB. He was evil. Not bad. Not misunderstood. Just evil. Pure, unadulterated, unapologetic evil.
@@richardschiffman7657 agreed I still have really bad night terrors where hes in my bedroom and I cant move or scream for help...I'm 40 lol and he's been in my nightmares since I first saw him. People go oh Freddy Kruegers scary, Michael Myers is frightening and I'm like...ummmm you know Bob from Twin Peaks ( nobody else seems to know of him ) I feel like I'm the only twin peaks fan in the world but in the UK it wasn't the frenzy it was in USA. When the Lonely Souls episode was aired in the UK there was a bit of trouble because it was show before the 9pm! in the 8 o'clock slot... anyway I could talk twin peaks forever...take care fellow twinpethian 🤟🔥👣⛰️⛰️🍒🍰☕☕📼
Wow! They are still both GORGEOUS! They've barely changed. So excited to see them come back! They were always my two favorites from Twin Peaks (plus Kyle, of course).

I loved being there at Crypticon 2015. This was a great gathering and discussion. I asked the question on the music scoring. Sheryl was so kind to me as we talked about the love of wild animals.
Sheryl Lee is a friend of mine and I can confirm she is one of the kindest and most soulful, empathetic human beings you will ever meet. I've never known anyone with a more calming and serene presence. Incredible human being.
When I was a teenager and even older (in 90s), Fenn seemed like a cool and hot girl in TP. Afterwards, when I look at these RU-vid picks, Sheryl Lee seems so sympathetic, beautiful (especially now, in her age it seems like she's a real beauty) and down-to-earth. When speaking, I see she has more depth and intelligence comparing to others. Of course, as said, that smile is mesmerizing. Wow, what a woman.
In the series, the four girls (Audrey, Laura, Donna and Shelly) are just mesmerizing gorgeous, there's simply no prettier cast in the history of cinema or TV, it makes you cry, those are the angels we see when we die. But when you watch them in these interviews, they are all such sweet and lovable human beings, it's very moving. It reminds you that life has much more beauty to offer beyond the ephemeral luscious attractiveness that some are gifted with.
vins1979 absolutely beautiful sentiment, couldn't agree more. She's really honest and down to earth. She says in an interview about David that his work is "soul based" and I feel the same way about her 🍒💞👠
Sherilyn and sheryl look like they must've got along on the set pretty well. Wasn't so much the case with Lara and Sherilyn, although that was more Lara's problems with jealousy.
thank you so much for posting this....that is a great gift to the fans. I never knew how both of them....i mean what they are LIKE....and this showed it for everyone. i love watching their facial expressions....especially Sherilyn and that darn slurpee!!!
I can not wait to see where they go with it. I think it will be something unlike what any of us are imagining but at the same time will be something that we all think "Wow!! I never thought of that!" Shivers....
So bizarre I was reading someone's comment and for some reason I wanted to recommend to them to read "Reflections" but it really had nothing to do with their comment so I refrained. Then 5 minutes later you're (I'm assuming "you" is the person who made this video lol, sorry if I'm mistaken) showing the book & if I understood correctly, saying that the audience would receive copies! 😳 so trippy, and I don't believe in accidents! I would say if you're a big TP fan who hasn't read the book, please do so! I thought I knew everything there was to know about the show but I was so wrong & it totally blew my mind! Great video btw, I'm not even halfway through but already loving it 👍
I wasn't in the video (just held my camera from the front row) and not everybody in the audience got copies of the book. It is a really good book though!

Will there be a fourth season of TP or possibly a spin-off of some kind? I remember Sherilyn Fenn saying years ago that David wanted a spin-off starring Audrey. Or if not that I'd love to see an "X-Files" style show with Cole, Cooper, Diane and Denise....oh well, dreams are great things.
Really? How would that movie have been a spin-off of TP? I can see it being an offer for Sherilyn to do a movie for Lynch but not really a spin-off of her character of Audrey would it? Shame cause I'd have watched a show about Audrey any day.
1.they have nothing in common 2.audrey is awful 3.she's not even attractive anymore 4.if he couldn't get together with annie or diane, why would he end up with audrey?
it's a drag that Lara Flynn Boyle chose not to participate. her character is great. in the end,, all of the actors who didn't return is a great disappointment. but maybe someday....
