I have five children and have never regretted it but I have many friends who stopped at 2 or 3 and wish they wouldn’t have. Every one is such a gift. Not easy but so worth it! The days may be long but the years are very short. Congratulations!

I have an identical twin sister and we’re 36. Our Mom had absolutely no idea she was pregnant with twins. After I was born, the doctor said, “Umm there’s another one in there!” Surprise!!

Fun fact: fraternal twins are the only hereditary type of twins and it only matters if it runs on Lauren’s side of the family, specifically her moms side. So you must have twins deep in your moms side somewhere!

Fellow Twin mom here...we joked about having twins as well bc my stomach was so much bigger than my previous pregnancy. My twins are 3 years old now. It’s definitely tough, but dang seeing them play together is the absolute best. They are each other’s best friends. ❤️❤️

you are gonna do great! I had my twin boys when I was 29 years old. One things that helped me was first try to mantain my head ocuppied with work and study cause that helped me dont get in my head and start getting scared about the twin pregnancy (always being careful with my pregnancy) and also got helping hands the first month the twins were born, that was such a blessing.

I’m a mom to a 4 year old girl and 1 year old di / di fraternal girls. I too experienced a loss with our second pregnancy which also were twin babies. We conceived naturally twins back to back which is rare. I promise your love will grow! Watching your older child take on the responsibility of being an older sibling and love on your littles is amazing!

This is so exciting! I'm a twin mom and expecting our third. I'm due end of July. We will have 3 under 2 for a few months. You might get big, but its not guaranteed. When I went to get induced at 37 weeks, a singleton (yes, this is a common word for multiples parents to use lol) mom was there and she was so much bigger than me. But I carried the twins funny. They were side by side rather than on top of eachother so i grew quite wide. Breastfeeding twins is so possible! I'm still breastfeeding fine. There are some great facebook groups with amazing tips for breastfeeding multiples. There are special pillows for breastfeeding twins but dont feel like you have to tandem feed. I found I HATED it and for the first 10/11 months I almost exclusively fed them one at a time. As for birth, both my babies were head down so we went for a vaginal birth. During labor, baby B turned transverse and so when A was born, doctor reached inside to grab her head and pull her into the right position. My birth mantra was literally "I don't want a C-section". But obviously, you will make the best decision for you and your babies.

My mom had a 2 1/2 year old toddler when she had my twin brother and I and she was so worried about how she was going to divide her attention between three individual children but she was the most amazing mother!!! Your heart will be so full

It's wonderful that Arie and Lauren are having twins, wishing them a healthy pregnancy and safe delivery. They seem to have a successful marriage because it appears they put the WORK in (ex: effective communication, showing kindness to each other, patience, respect, and staying together through tough times,etc.)that's needed for a marriage/relationship to thrive and last.

Hi Lauren and Arie, I'm an Australian mum of twins (boy and a girl) living in Berlin, Germany. Buy a breastfeeding pillow called "my Brest friend". Also breastfeed separately for a few weeks to concentrate on each one while they're learning how to do it. Then go to both at once to save you time. When alone sit in the middle of a big couch and put a finished baby down beside you to be able to get up. Pregnancy :eat as much as possible in your early pregnancy to get the babies gaining enough... Use smoothies to sneak in calories :spinach powder, banana, ice-cream, peanut butter, etc. Eat lots of nuts as a snack:good fats for brain development. Eat soups with lentils veges barley etc to eat one meal with lots of nutrients. When nautious eat food. Twins is hard to eat enough. Then the breastfeeding will shed the weight in no time. I had a natural birth. Just take the Drs advice whatever they recommend... Good luck!!

Every child is different. You adapt,grow, and learn with each one. Unconditional love between a parent and a child is a beautiful thing.

Lauren it’s called tandem breastfeeding. I have Irish twins and was breastfeeding both, you won’t have any time to yourself if you feed them at different times, I would make them both latch on together. You got this mama it comes naturally and always trust your instinct. There is too much pressure on mamas to breastfeed

So excited for you guys! My Di/Di twins are identical, we had a DNA test done to confirm cause they looked so similar! Be prepared that you might have some NICU time if they come early (ours came at 33 weeks) but that it goes by fast and twin love is like no other 💞

The Twin Z nursing pillow has been life saving for breast feeding my twin boys. It was also a shock for me when we found out we were having twins but it has truly been our biggest blessing! Congrats to you both! 🥰

My twins were born at 37 weeks, due to Baby Bs umbilical cord were knotted. I remembered going for a morning check-up, and had a C section at 4pm same day. I breastfed for 13mths and also had to top with formula. I had no other expectations as it was my first pregnancy. My fraternal twins were born at 6 & 7 lbs each. I had no sickness at all. I wasn't afraid at all as what to expect and caring for twin babies. You'll learn a lot and you do what's easier for you. Pregnancy at 7 mths felt like 9 mths already. I gained only 40 lbs with twin boys. It's more work with twins but it's not hard. Trust me, it's manageable ❤️

Would love to see a follow up RU-vid video as to what you did differently during your 6 months of trying! Congrats on the twins!

I had a miscarriage and on the day that baby would have been born I found out I was pregnant again. She is now 4!

I had triplet boys at 33.4 weeks. I am 5'0" and gained 42 lbs. I went down to 104 lbs right after birth. My boys are 24 years old.

Twin mom here! You HAVE to get a Twin Z pillow! Especially if you’re going to breastfeed, but they’re so handy for other things as well. Also thank you for giving ACCURATE, factual information about twins. We have mono/di twins, and there are so many RU-vid families that have twins that have not done the research and just spew out the most random stuff as fact. Huge bachelor nation fan, congrats to you both, so so excited to watch your twin journey! It’s the best!

just do boy stuff with the girls! i wish my parents had taught me some of the "boy" stuff when i was younger because as an adult i feel like im missing some important skills and knowledge because i'm a girl

I don't know why but I always think that after you miscarry and you have twins, the baby you lost is one of the twins and it was because they didn't want to be along and they wanted some to take on the world with them. 🥰❤

My bestfriend had twins and it was so amazing to see, because I had never known anyone to have twins (as far as family or friends). She bottle fed and I came over to help allll the time! She had a paper with both of their names on it and wrote down each of their feeding times, everyday. That way she knew exactly when to feed them. I found with twins that having a schedule is everything, when it comes to feeding and sleeping. You guys are going to do so awesome! ❤️
