Bro a g37 cost 4-8k fbo e85 another 1.5k and you’re beating 5.0 for 30% of the cost of a 5.0 another 5-8k and you’re pushing 700 whp still less than the cost of a good example 5.0 30k for a 5.0 when a 8k g37 can beat it is crazy
SC PC don't lag ......but only put out as much as the engine can give....turbos only require exhaust pressure yes they lag but when you have twin turbos smaller turbo picks up the slack with the smaller turbo then next in line comes the other turbo...for the wopping top end power thus as you saw here the g37 smashed the other car.
As long as you're willing to accept 600whp is really the reliability limit on these cars, they're good platforms. 700whp+ is headlift territory. Even with built motors you're at risk of headlift if built normally. There's a famous built VQ37VHR that blew up on the dyno. It's 110% the owner's fault for cheaping out on headers. The tuner warned him about the pressures, and he still wanted more. 25k engine went pop.
I've always been a supercharger guy, but turbos have come a long way and at the turn off a knob, you can have as much hp as your heart desires without changing pulleys or anything.
The black one won had it feeling it could to turbos gotta te build the boost every time it shifts and I’m guessing they both automatics and super chargers help automatics a lot since it just keeps whining and going
