There are currently two "God-ish" covers I will firmly stand by that I believe to be some of the greatest covers, not just of this song, but of all time. Rissa's cover here is the second cover I'd heard for this song, and is much more clear, elegant, beautiful. You can clearly tell her singing foundation is second to none through this cover. The other cover of "God-ish" that I'd highly recommend, and the first one I'd ever heard for this song, is from Enna Alouette. Her vocals are much more raw and unique, with a lot of surprising and powerful parts that, while not as elegant as Rissa, do set her apart as a very competent pro singer. Plus, she's got a certain growl in some parts that makes my brain go zoom XD

Another banger from arguably the best singer in Holo (no offense to Suisei, IRyS or AZKi). As to y'all's point about her having a stock pile, it will be confirmed if she comes out with a cover every two weeks or so with an MV. And seriously, I wouldn't be surprised considering how long they had waited (trained?) in the wings before debut. Great review, keep up the great work!
It would not be surprising if she had a whole bunch of songs, especially if she is used to singing and recording. It wouldn't be too hard if Cover is also supporting. Always happy to see/hear any covers though. :)
I suspected this since her debut, but this cover solidified it for me. Nerissa is the Suisei of HoloEN. This is not meant as a knock against the other HoloEN members as they're all incredibly talented, but when I think about who in Holo could pull off something like The First Take like Suisei did, there are only a select few I could see doing it and Nerissa is firmly on that list. I can't wait to see what she does for her eventual first original song! Thanks for the great reaction!
Weirdly enough i think rissa actually sings "too well" for this song. Being used to the OG and La+ cover, hearing the song so "clear" feels weird haha. Still amazing just, different.
Definitely different. The clarity really sets it apart, like a personal rendition of it. It's great but it would have been awesome if the track was also customized more.
It is a recording, there will be a lots of mixing and retake to reach that perfection. I mean she is an INCREDIBLE SINGER (I feel like I need to emphasize this before people start assuming) if you listen to her karaoke stream but recording will be heavily mixed (maybe with autotune here and there). It comes down to how many retakes she took and how heavy the mixing was. I have faith in her tho.
