Wow great video. Twinflex systems are just waiting to go in the bin when installed. Maybe get alarmsense or something to replace it. Can’t wait to see an update on what happens.
I am indeed, the engineer only came to replace a detector however i told him about the MCP not working and then it turned into a larger job than expected…
I haven’t watched the video the whole way through but zones can be turned off on these if powered down as the EOL are in the devices. Did you contact Rafiki or Twinflex?
It most definitely is!! the system will be repaired very soon and will have an update in a month or two. The likelihood is that it will get a twinflex pro panel as the devices are fine, however alarmsense has been mentioned.
The panel is NOT kaput it has a problem, I did not see any checks for earth faults, yes it's not the best panel in the world, but the panel is NOT dead, but earth faults cause all sorts of problems.
The panel was dead in the end - this was just the surface of hours of fault finding. A while ago there was a power surge which we believe killed the panel. In the end it was replaced and is now in my hands.
