Wow this was recorded 2 years before I was born. I’ll be 40 next month. I thank God I was born into a family who raised me with the fear of the Lord and listening to gospel music especially the Clark Sisters ❤
The more you listen to Twinkie you can hear how much Karen listened to and admired her big sister Twinkie. From the growls and squalls down to the high notes. TWINKIE IS THE GOAT 🐐
Karen also learn how to sing high notes because of the niecey too I'm looking at this performance this sums up with Karen said in the interviews that Denise can slay that soprano is fair to say she learn from both Twinkie and Denise
I'm not going to argue with you she learn from Denise too yall forget she Denise is older than Twinkie@@Dahverin-kk4on Karen said so in a interview that she is deeply influenced by her sister Denise I'm not going to argue with you dude
I’m not saying this because it’s Twinkie and we love her…but the moment she began singing, you can feel the anointing taking over. Twinkie literally dedicated her life to the Lord, the church, her mom and the sisters. She literally had no time for herself. So now i understand when she said “I wonder sometimes, is my playing the organ in vain” because at some point in her life, her heart wasn’t really in it. but I’m so glad she remained faithful TO GOD. her music has blessed us tremendously and I would love to see a biopic of her and the things she’s endured.
It’s Just Something About Seeing Denise & Twinkie Together You Can Tell They Have A Tight Bond As Sisters, And I Wanna See The Rest Of Denise Singing Miracle, I’m Need That Entire Clip ASAP Lol
I like how Denise jumps around the keys vocally ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 It’s common in jazz and blues @18:18 she begins fluctuating notes “Just receive your miracle” was a buildup 🆙// “Only-with-the POWWWWWER” was a run down, almost identical to the building up! Talented group of ladies they are!
I wish every singer would study Twinkie to see and learn the difference in singing from a gift and ministering from the anointing. There's a big difference, especially when you desire to be effective; you should choose the latter. One of the main things I love about Twinkie is how she allows a song to breathe in order for that song to minister and breathe life into the hearer. This is such a lost art because so many singers are so focused on trying to move the audience emotionally that they forget that the power and effectiveness is to move the listener spiritually. When ministering in song, if you move the listener in emotions, then they may be convicted and change their mind. But when ministering in song, if you move the listener spiritually, then you will convict them to change not only their mind but also their heart, and from that anointing is what destroys strongholds and yokes. SN: I wish she would consider doing workshops like back in the day and teach us how to minister in song and in music. One example she taught us musicians is that the praise is not led by the musicians but by the people, and that's why you must be sensitive in the spirit. Many of today's musicians drive the praise versus the people, and this is why there's not a lot of deliverance in praise and worship like it was back in the day. I can remember many Sunday's that the pastor couldn't preach because of the effectiveness of the praise and worship. I remember when they had to carry people to their cars because they were so drunk in the spirit from praise and worship alone. I've seen literal Glory clouds with smoke rising from the floor no smoke machines but just the Kavod manifested Glory of God. Lord ENDOW us again with the power of the Holy Ghost. 🙏🏿😭 ***Written In Respect*** #MyFavTwinkie
@11:32 I fell out when she said “ it’s kinda hard to come behind Twinkie Clark” 😂 she knew they was intimidated by her skillful playing but she was humble about it Twinkie is so sweet ❤❤❤
Nisey has ALWAYS looked after Twinkie. Thats Twinkie's big sister for real. Those two have always and will always be tight. Even today. I witnessed this first hand growing up and still see it to this day. That's why Larry looks after Twinkie the way he does, because that's his Mother's ONE.
This video is the rarest look back (on the internet) of the Clark sisters. I’ve never seen this video in my many many World Wide Web searches over the decades of Clark sisters/mattie moss footage. You have done it once again, thank you so much for sharing this. Seeing Denise do ministry with Twinkie is real special.
Sing Nisey!!! Nisey's love for Twinkie and her love for God is undeniable. Seen it all my life. And I love YOU Nisey. That ain't NEVER gon' change. (Alfred). And Linda Pawlovich got that undeniable voice. I remember her singing "God Is So Wonderful" until the power of the Lord fell.
Absolutely. When Twinkie’s Heavenly language sounds similar to Karen. I wonder if that deliverance ministry comes from their maternal grandmother side. Also who mentored Twinkie back then other than her mother and Bishop J. S. Bailey?
OMG I remember these concerts. I used to attend every service, every workshop and every concert. Linda Pawlovich was one of my favorite singers. I actually took vocal lessons from her. Maaaaan, thanks Jayhbiz for posting this. BLAST from the PAST!!!!
You keep coming in clutch! Bet let’s talk about the fact that we got Twinkie and Denise footage!! And that combination with Linda…. Whew!! I don’t think imma be able to take anymore footage 🤣
2:47 aint this the growl that Karen uses to make us go crazy in the 2020s lol she is GREAT student. Twinkie being the "All in One" Clark Sister so cool
Dorinda sounds like Dr Mattie Moss Clark all the way ! I heard that when I visit at greater Emmanuel institute Church Denise Karen have the same vocal distinction between one another if you would talk to Denise and hear her voice you believe you're talking to Karen I personally think that Denise and Twinkie sound alike often at times but the Dorinda has her mother's voice all the way 100% she sound like she from Alabama lol
@@jayhbizok gotcha. But intou get your hands on the robe dedication service in 86 and that Sunday musical. I’ll buy you some fish and ribs from Jackie’s 🤣
One thing Twinkie is gonna do is direct the musician and give the key and chords when she’s not playing!! Her ear is impeccable. When she belted out the high C for him to modulate her vocals sounded just like the organ
Hello, I know y’all going to disagree with me just because she’s a celebrity that means she’s not entitled to do something or say something wrong simply because of her name. But didn’t like the fact that she kept going after the musicians instead of just doing what the Lord said she came to the front of the stage of doing what told her to do. She starts talking about how bad the musicians are. They Tried their best they did what they could do and they probably did not know the song very well But she needs to encourage them as talented as Twinkie. She’s probably made her share of mistakes. And of course because she’s famous no one is going to agree with me on this that’s fine.
