Twinkie is the masterpiece by which other singers and musicians receive inspiration to do what they do. Her vocal control/range is other-worldly and the icing on the cake: her organ/keyboard/piano playing.
Jesus! This is truly annointed of the Holy Spirit!! Twinkie does an awesome job of merging her classical expertise with her gospel training and the annoiting makes this a perfect praise to the glory of God. Vocally, Twinkie is the purest! Thank God for Dr. Mattie Moss Clark's vision and the Clark Sisters, they are blessed of God.
"Thou changeth not" her voice gives me chills. Noone can touch her angelic voice. So anointed. I admire her praise & worship. I get teary eyed, feeling her energy, good Lord!! She's one bad sistah.
They spoke French. Check out 3:23, they did know the song. However this was not a "churched" audience. This was a mixed(Christian&Muslim) crowd of the upper echelon of Abidjon. They intended to sit and watch a gospel performance but by the time she got done with singing "Hallelujah" they were up leaping and shouting with her.
This was about our 5th or 6th time performing in West Africa. Twinkie was undecided about what song she wanted to open her part with. So I asked her to sing a slow hymn and show us some of her college skills. She closed her eyes for about 5 seconds then smiled and said "okay".

God gave TWINKIE this gift. when GOD gives u a gift, NO ONE can copy it. I just LOVE Twinkie. She is THE Clark sisters. at the end I was so mesmerized by her on that piano, she made that piano talk!! it was nobody but GOD!! God was just inside twinkie's body, moving her fingers playing them notes. TWINKIE is the QUEEN of the piano and Organ. I'm going to watch this over and over again! Omg! I love her.
I keep a link to this video on my desktop for ease of access! Wow, Twinkie's voice is altogether sweet and so very pure!!! It's a feast for my ears and this is a perfect praise using those talents!
This isn't good enough for you? LOL. I kinda like seeing her on the keys instead of seeing the usual Hammond clips. 5:39 was a crazy run. I would love if she did more songs like this on her albums.
Twinkie is sick on this clip. Most people only think of Twinkie on the organ but this clip proves otherwise. No wonder Richard Smallwood has listed her as one of his influences on his Myspace page
Well kind of. She did the same thing Karen did in the Hallelujah video. She stood the audience up and asked them to "jump...jump...jump" And they immediately responded and started leaping with her. The person recording didn't zoom in so it looks and sounds more homevideoish than it already is. But I'll see if we can edit it enough to post.
