I just had a thought the other day, I wonder what happened to Twinkle. She was an archetypal 60s girl and lovely too, an early crush for me. She wrote a lot of very catchy songs and I just love Golden Lights, it should have been massive. Such a shame that she died so young. RIP Lyn Ripley. We will remember you.

i was a tot but i remember this as one of my much older sisters’ 45s which were kept in a letter rack . it was on Decca same as Ruby Tuesday. We never got picture sleeves just ones on Deram label had additional logo on paper sleeve. 😁🐢❤️

I wonder if this was even released in the USA. It should have been and it should have been a big hit.

Twinkle wrote some great songs.She also covered End of the world and Tommy.Check out 1969s Mickey which she also wrote herset.RPM records have a great cd of hers. I personally loved her music.

Tony Blackburn does nt play her songs very often -- in fact I have only heard Terry, which he seems to play every few years.

I love the songs and the fashion. However I'll wear skorts lol. My mum was braver than me, her dresses we're really short, that she wore in the 60s when she was in her 30s
