Just to clarify, but I think you figured it out on your own: the opening part of the episode shows Yi-chan's original timeline, that is, her story as it happened before Eun-gyeol (and Eun-yoo ) went back in time and substantially changed it. And finally we see how Yi-chan's story actually went originally: the infamous incident that Yoon Dong-jin recounted in the interview was actually the fight that broke out when the Jindo Dog gang attacked the First Love Memory Manipulators (which was the band name Watermelon Sugar before changing it in the new timeline, if you remember) as retaliation towards Kang Hyun-yul who was a former member of Jindo Dog and who, if you remember, had betrayed their leader who ended up in prison for a while '. On that occasion, Kang Hyun-yul injured his leg and spent some time in hospital, also marking the end of the band and their collaboration with Yoon Dong-jin. But here comes the piece that was still missing: on that occasion Yi-chan was writing a song, which later remained incomplete, which she wanted to play to Choi Hyun, who we know is actually Mr. Viva. Although the scene showed that Choi Hyun had refused to listen to Yi-chan's song at that moment, because Se-kyung was in his shop at that moment, we know that later, probably after the accident, that Mr. Viva will enter in possession of that song who will then give it to Eun-gyeol to complete. In short, now we know who that unknown artist of the song was, although, to be honest, there was more than a suspicion that that song had been written by Yi-chan, which closes a circle. In any case, in a past post I already spoke of the fatality of this drama, of a destiny that cannot be escaped and now everything is confirmed: although Eun-gyeol (and Eun-yoo) has changed the lives of her parents in a rather radical way parents, in particular of his mother Chung-a who, given the turn of events, will now not be forced to leave her family, but to live and grow up with her father and inherit his company, certain events seem written in stone and not can be changed and this concerns Yi-chan's accident: Eun-gyeol did everything, but in the end that fate was fulfilled anyway and this time involuntarily through her fault, since it happened because Yi-chan put in the middle to save him from the car that was about to hit him. Again as I wrote at the time, I think that Eun-gyeol misunderstood the meaning of his journey, which was not to prevent that event, but to understand his parents and make himself understood by them and in this he completely succeeded: Eun-gyeol he shared the brightest period of Yi-chan's youth, sharing with him the passion for music, which he was unaware of before. What Eun-gyeol didn't know before is that her father also had that passion and that if he had told him about it like he told him he wouldn't have been stressed about trying to be the model son she thought she expected of him. On the other hand, now that Yi-chan has fully experienced that period, it is possible that the adult version of her does not shy away from that period by avoiding her friends at the time and that she may understand her son better than her first son. In short, to put it simply, this time travel did not only serve to fix certain things in the lives of Eun-gyeol's parents, but to understand each other to create a stronger and more sincere relationship between the two parties. Coming instead to Im Ji-mi, I have the impression that her position within the Yoon family is not clear to you: I think I wrote something about it in one of the past episodes, however, to put it briefly, she and President Yoon, at some point in their lives, got married (although I think it is solely a business marriage, since both parties address each other formally using company titles), which is why Yoon Joo -yeob acted like he owned the company. Regardless, thank goodness Ji-mi's reign of terror ended and President Yoon finally opened his eyes to what was going on and hopefully their relationship will be better from here on out. Small notes: also on this occasion, the song that is heard in the last minutes of the episode is sung by Choi Hyun-wook, the interpreter of Yi-chan, which gives an even more moving note to an already deeply dramatic scene. Yes, June 6th is a national holiday in South Korea: it is a day dedicated to men and women who gave their lives to defend the country during the terrible fratricidal war that took place from 1950 to 1953, the famous Korean War. On this occasion, the streets and some areas of the cities are usually filled with Korean flags. Thanks for the reaction.
