Great explanation. One thing I would add...When you are copying the Color MAP from the original material, before moving on to the new material, I would suggest copying and pasting the rest of the MAPS in the original material. This will give you the Roughness and Normal MAPS and sometimes even a Translucency MAP. Subscribed 🤘
Hi! Thanks very much for the input as well as the subscription, I hope you find the channel helpful :) Good suggestions to bring up, thank you! In this case, there was only a diffused texture map, but that does bring up an interesting point... Now days there are so many different formats and download options, even for texture files. If a texture is downloaded with 3 maps (Roughness, diffused and normal), make sure to use them all to get the best results :) See you in the next one!
