These girls are going to learn to swim early because of the great coaches ! Blowing bubbles is really a great start and the gentle care they take with the girls so they enjoy it !👏👏
This is so lovely to watch. I taught swimming lessons to all ages for 15 years and the satisfaction for me was to see my students realize that the water doesn't control you, you control the water - and to enjoy it! I've seen some of my students swim competitively, become life gaurds in both still and ocean water, and some just enjoy teaching others to learn to swim. This video reminds me of that. Joy.
The underwater shots of their little legs kicking perfectly are so cool! They seem very happy in the water this year! Swim lessons are so important! It saves the lives of many children-lucky little girls!
Here in New Zealand learning to swim is classed as a life skill as we are surrounded by water. The school my son attended (many years ago now lol), had a policy that every child in the school would learn to swim before they left. I'm thrilled your taking this life skill seriously and getting your girls in the water at a young age, I wish more parents would follow your lead.
@bzylizzy I love your comment! That's so interesting to hear, and it seems like a good policy to have to ensure all children are equipped with swimming skills for life! 🥰❣👍
Anna has improved putting her head back now, and more relaxed. Swimming lesson's are so important. These two year's old have great teachers, the girls, are doing well, so great to see.😊
The girls really enjoy their swimming lessons. It's very important for children to learn how to swim, especially when they have good swimming instructors like Ana and Guin do. Lucky little girls! See you tomorrowowow!
Thank you sooo much for sharing the girls’ swimming lesson experiences with us. Their teachers are especially amazing. They are two lucky little ladies. I have loved the water since I was 1 1/2 when I fell off a dock at a lake and luckily just started dog paddling. We had Cocker Spaniels and I guess I just watched them and did a monkey see monkey do thing, thank goodness. I wasn’t a bit scared ever. But I know most children need lots of encouragement and support in order to feel safe in the water. It’s so important for all people to know how to swim. I’m thrilled the girls will grow up to be safe around water and able to really enjoy swimming.!
These patient coaches have water skills for toddler beginners. I loved watching the girls enjoying lesson 2.. especially their little legs kicking in the underwater scenes.
Anastasia and Guinevere are really enjoying their swimming lessons and it's great to see them having so much fun xx

Kick, kick, kick, they progressing so well w their lessons. They have come a long way since last year. Their instructors are very good w them. Thanks for sharing. See you tomorrowrow, BYE! 🏊
I really liked the instructor working with Anna. She seemed to have a particular affinity with babies and was very reassuring. The babies look so much more comfortable.
@@debm8470 thank you so much for this meaningful observation and compliment. I am that instructor. I own the swim school. We love working with the girls!
The girls did so well with their swim lessons again! Guinevere & her bubbles in the water (she did so well) and Ana holding her little boat with the wheels as she was practicing her pushes! Two of the prettiest mermaids I've ever seen! Just can't take the cuteness! 🧜♀️❤🧜♀️
Actually was thinking about the swimming lessons yesterday, wondering if the girls were still doing that. Awesome! Learning to swim is so important, ofcourse I come from a country with water everywhere, still….
@ronilochli3941 Great comment! Your words resonated with me, because I grew up fearful of water after a scary childhood incident. When I turned 16, my friends banded together and decided to teach me to swim at our local playground pool. They started off by teaching me to float on my back. I will never forget that feeling of buoyancy, and I felt safe in the water for the first time in my life. It wasn't long before I was swimming laps. I still have to hold my nose to go underwater, and I will probably never learn to dive, but I can certainly save myself from drowning, and that is such an important life skill to have. 🥰❣👍
They seem to like the water. As they get older and the more lessons they have they will not be afraid of the water.. You definitely are doing the right thing by starting them earlier that way they will be even more comfortable in the water..❤😊
@@FranHand-di8on I've watched in horror seeing RU-vid videos of parents tossing their infants and toddlers into pools to teach them to sink or swim. I much prefer to watch the twins' learning to swim in the safety and care of trained instructors, and I think this method will lead to effective swimming techniques, as well as a life-long love of the water. 😊👍👍
They are going to be great. This looks like souch fun. I love watching the kicks. The instructors are very good. Thank you for sharing this time with us. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wonderful to watch them swimming they are teaching them with such affection & lovingly it's really nice they aren't forcing them to swim but showing them to enjoy swimming very nice. Ana & Guin both looked beautiful & they are enjoying it.
Good morning Anna and Guin, you both did an awesome job swimming 🏊♀️. Two little mermaids. I love Anna's teacher, her voice and techniques were so loving. Gonna be swimming all by yourselves soon. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day. ❤ Kathy
This is the best lesson you can give them. Swimming lessons at an early age like they are will be very valuable to them as they get older. They will not be afraid of the water. Thanks to the wonderful parents like Alicia and Walt. ❤
I don't think the girls are afraid of the water at all. Mama and papa introduced them to it quite awhile ago, and they enjoy the waves at the beach "here comes a big one!", plus Alicia has introduced them to water in a variety of ways starting with their fountain-spray pad and splash and wading pools.😊
That's awesome. With these good lessons, in just a couple of years, they will have advanced from goldfish to dolphins! (pool lesson names, lol) It warms my heart seeing them getting these lessons. ---- I can't wait to see them holding onto a 'float board and kicking their legs. They already have the leg motion spot on! Kuddos to the teachers, "Good job!" means a lot to little ones.....and everybody! lol. Great video.
I bet that pool felt refreshing to the girls, and what a perfect way to beat the heat. Their swimming lessons are coming along so nicely, and it is heartwarming to see how kind and gentle the instructors are with the twins. It is so important to build up trust between student and teacher, and I can see that Guinevere and Anastasia not only enjoy their swimming lessons, but they feel very comfortable with their instructors, too. The underwater camera is a great way to capture the twins' great kicking technique. I loved that cute hippo song, too - splash!!! 🥰💜😎💖
I could tell them apart very early on with Ana looking like mama and Guin (with a narrower face and different shaped eyes) looking more like dada. Ana has rounder cheeks and slightly larger eyes. In any case, the twins are adorable and are lucky to have such great parents. Alicia is a supermom, to be sure!😊
Hi Alicia! Thank you. Great job with the filming/video. Ana and Guin doing very well with the teachers. Just beautiful and enjoyable. Thank you for the video.❤❤❤❤🎉
This was amazing how well the girls are swimming They seem to really like the instructors. The instructors are engaging and fun.I hope Gwen doesn't get sad when its over.I saw little Ana smile several times.
@Chabagirl - The videos are not always in order, so this is likely the lesson that Guin was sad when it ended. 😢 We can see why she wanted to stay in the pool. 🏊♀️
Ahhh fab to see them loving the water and learning to swim fantastic fantastic in that beautiful pool and warm sunshine ❤❤❤❤❤❤👩❤️💋👩👩❤️💋👩👩❤️💋👩👩❤️💋👩👩❤️💋👩👩❤️💋👩👩❤️💋👩👩❤️💋👩👩❤️💋👩👩❤️💋👩👩❤️💋👩👩❤️💋👩🏊♀️🏊🏊♀️🏊🏊♀️🏊🏊♀️🩱🩱❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🏴🏴🏴🇬🇧
So important to teach swimming early in life. So many children and even adults drown every year because they can't swim. And it seems not a summer goes by that we don't hear of a little child drowning in their own back yard. I realize pool covers can be a inconvenient to use all the time but they could save a childs life. The instructors are doing a wonderful job with the girls.
It is so nice see the girls enjoying their swim lessons. So important to learn water safety. Here I am 91 and can’t swim. Also never turn your back to the ocean. The ocean in Hawaii are very different. A lot of underwater currents.Girls are doing awesome.💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
🏊♂️🏊♀️ I like that the instructors talk to the girls and guide them patiently . Step by step they will swim. I heard Ana " sissy, sissy" ❤❤ To tell them" great job" is the best. And hugs. I think that will be good to talk with the girls before the swimming lesson and to tell them that mom and dad knows to swim too and it's very good to know to swim . Kind of motivational words. That way they will understand " why" it's good to learn. To do things without understand why not everyone want to do or ready to do. I noticed in the photo that Ana looks at sissy instructor (in the previos video was the same). Maybe she thinks that she is her instructor too. The parents are of both. So , she thinks maybe that one instructor is for both too. Maybe she likes her voice. I don't know. But if you look you will notice that too.
I believe that you and your husband have the most exceptional and gorgeous children on the planet. Hi to all of you, we all love you. Big fan of all of you!
@@KELLY-uj4vf Kelly, as a grandmother, I had to chuckle at your comment. Of course our grandchildren are perfect!! Along with Anastasia & Guinevere.🩷💙💙 💜🩷
@@KELLY-uj4vf That's so sweet. But, I've never met them so when I comment on here my focus is on the twins. Nothing against any other children. I just find them very wonderful. They make my day brighter and lighter. You sound like a very good Grandma.
Wonderful job with the girls I could make a comment about the pancakes and stuff. It was great. You’re doing such a good job swimming early saves lives.
(@slfullen already said just what I was going to say.) I think it is a happy environment and these two instructors are great at making the girls feel safe, yet challenges them a little. Both girls are definitely focused on that 1:1! 😊
I really love both of today's instructors. To me they are like Alicia in their approach to teaching the girls; calm, gentle, fun and reassuring. I think they've found the secret for Ana to be successful with her swimming lessons. An instructor who is similar to Guin's instructor, and then, by making it a little competitive. Ana was really kick, kick, kicking trying to get to the floating toy before Guin did. At 02:34 it looks like she glances over to see if Guin is coming to get the toy the instructor threw. Alicia has said Ana may be more of a daredevil, but is more introverted than Guin. I think that shows here.😊💜🏊♀️🩷🏊♀️
Yes they had good ones today. To be honest the last time they had lessons filmed and posted for all of us to enjoy, I believe the younger girl ( who was present during this session) and a young man (who wasn’t seen) are the children of the lady Ana was with. I could be wrong. Last session Ana had the gentleman and I thought he was doing an outstanding job when he taught. Very nice kids and if their mom is the one in the video with Ana I would like to tell her what good kids you have. Very skilled and very patient with little learners. Very lucky Alicia found you because it’s not everyday you receive quality included in the service. Well done 👍
That’s the BEST thing Gift You can give the twins🎉, I was at a party where there were adults, a child was drowning even with the presents of the adults!!! Thank God the child SURVIVED
I believe it is. The videos are usually pre-recorded. Guinevere was so sweet when she was talking about how she cried cuz she didn't want to leave the pool❤
@aliciabarton3497 The first time I watched Guinevere's interactions with her instructor, I thought, 'she teaches the way Alicia parents'. The young man was very nice to Anastasia, but since you said Ana is more introverted, she needed someone more like mom. From the outside looking in, I think her new instructor is a better fit for her, and either one of the two instructors would make a wonderful babysitter for the girls.
I feel like jumping in.I grew up on Long Island and well-earned to swim in the Ocean. My son competed at the age 3 on his swim team and has not stop at the Masters at 35 yrs.Maybe the girls would like the Olympics starting soon. You never know the way look today ready set go❤❤😊😊
I grew up in NYC and also have family on Long Island. We were always at Jones Beach & the Jersey shore! Fun times! That is great your son is such a proficient swimmer! And yes, I bet the girls could try for the Olympics too!
Ana seemed more comfortable in the water and with this instructor. The singing and playfulness of this instructor would, I think, help Ana develop trust and rapport.
Alicia how long are the girls lessons and how many days a week do they go. I remember taking swimming lessons. But I'm not sure how long or how many days of the week. But I sure enjoyed learning. I loved swimming !!!!🩷 I enjoy watching the girls they are so cute. 🩷💜 7/14/2024
Wish I'd had some decent swimming teachers like these! I am over 70 now and I still haven't learned properly, except all I could do eventually was the doggy paddle and that was on my own after I left school. My swimming teachers at secondary school (from 11 years) were horrendous. I was so fearful, that I was the only child left who couldn't swim. One of the teachers even said to me, 'If you don't learn soon we're going to throw you in the deep end!' Of course, I became even more terrified. I could never concentrate on my history lessons, which were immediately before swimming, as I lived in fear, so I failed my exam. I have, since I became an adult, become very interested in history and was sorry that those swimming teachers ruined what is a very interesting subject for me. So to see the twins doing so well and at such a young age, and with little or no fear is wonderful to see.
I enjoy watching. I have a question regarding the swim lessons. I am not being picky but Have they tried teaching the girls how to roll over and float on their backs. And to get their heads wet under water. If a child feel in a pool they would go down pop up as instinct but they need to learn to float on their backs. Just curious if the girls have hone under yet? They seem to really enjoy the pool.
I think babies are a bit more natural and less fear in water. Why? But I know learning the back float is hardest for most children, they don't understand laying back and when they feel their head getting wet they panic about going under the water.
