Watching the girls use chopsticks warms my heart. I, too, was taught at their age to use them. All the waiters in the restaurant would watch me in complete disbelief. I still enjoy using chopsticks and always ask for them.
@marilynegli1779 Since the children's chopsticks are held together for them, they truly aren't using the same exact finger placement as regular sticks. Guin and Anna picked up the dexterity needed immediately. They are so fun to watch. I'm over 60, and they didn't have special chopsticks. I learned with regular sticks, as did my brothers. We ate quite a bit of Chinese food growing up, and my dad loved watching us eat with them.Eating with them today feels completely organic.
Aren’t Asian foods prepared so that the pieces are chunkier so they are “pinched” easier and they prepare the rice or use a rice that sticks together more than our rice does?
@@user-ut2ey5tr4d. They tell me when I was 3 the family was eating at an Asian restaurant and all the adults were using chopsticks. I put up a fuss because I wanted to use some too. There are pictures of little me eating with chopsticks held together with twist ties.
“Come back here, I got you!” Sooooo cute😂❤They were certainly bubbly this morning “in the dark,” teaching fighting hands to hug, and face planting when chopsticks are no longer exciting. They made my day again, thank you Barton family!!💛

Amazing girls, I have never mastered the art of using chopsticks, my food ends up stone cold when I try 😂 They are such clever children and well done parents for introducing them at an early age 👏👏
These 2 year olds are the smartest I have ever seen. Picking up the food with chopsticks and their sentences are worth it all. Great job to mom and dad.

OMG Guin making the food fly into her mouth is the cutest. LOL Also when she made the food talk and say "hey put me down" and she replies with "no you have to go into my mouth" LOL
@paganskye452 That's funny! I think I heard Walt joke that they will have to get three freezers to store all their corn for off-season dining. Some people get an extra freezer to store meat and other items they may buy in bulk, but the Bartons could use an extra freezer to keep fresh Jersey corn available for the twins to enjoy all year long - LOL! 💕💕
@@lisalivingston6473 Definitely more economical to buy in bulk. I have a large 27 Cubic foot freezer (upright), a 7 cubic foot chest and a 10 cubic foot chest freezer as well as the freezer space on 3 refrigerators and am currently contemplating buying another freezer. But I'd rather hold off on that and invest in a freeze dryer. The longer shelf life of Freeze dried foods make it a an extremely desired appliance. Food storage wouldn't take as much room as canning or blanching and freezing, although some things - like corn on the cob - probably would lend itself to freeze drying. But it would be interesting to try.
@@paganskye452 In the years before my husband passed away, we bought most of our groceries and household goods in bulk. We had so many rolls of toilet tissue...I had a two-year supply. I often thought about that years later when, during Covid, that essential item was extremely difficult to find. What a crazy time!

@maddyjean4784 I agree! I am always so impressed by how quickly the girls learn new things. Ana surprised me at quickly she mastered using her chopsticks and untwisting them after only being shown how to do it once by Alicia. Gwen ate so well with her chopsticks, too! 💕💕

Now that’s a big first! The chop sticks were such a big hit with the girls! So funny when Guin said “I got you!” . They both were doing so good with them. I can’t even eat with them!😢 Dad and the fighting fingers had me sitting here laughing out loud! Something new and fun every day! 😂😂😂❤❤❤❤🎉
Wow! Their use of the chopsticks is amazing, well done little ladies, so smart. I certainly can't use chopsticks with that dexterity, my efforts are very hit 'n miss! 😂 The meal is a hit & the chopsticks more so, they mastered the art straight away.

Dear wonderful Barton family. I've been watching for a long time now. Love your family and videos so much. Finally had to write and tell you the corn incident of 2024 has made my life😅. I die every time it's brought up. To the point that in My life if anyone says "not bad" I scream in my head. "THE CORN WAS BAD!!!!!😂😂😂 One day I can't wait when Anna turns and says "WE KNOW" HAAAA Thanks again for sharing with us. Wonderful video Ana have talent with chopsticks but after some point she got bored. Guin tried them & did great use of them too. Last time they didn't manage this time they are doing it great & I like their finger games too especially that message sometimes we need to come out of dark that is something for fun now but when they grow up it will become support for them. Wonderful parenting great job.
