When I was a teacher, I could always tell the children whose parents talked and read to them. But these two girls using complex sentences and abstract thinking are exceptional.
Why? Cause they were more verbal & willing to engage w/ you? Just curious; I had exceptional Mom myself & know the differencc. Makes me really marvel at the Twins' conversations.
Hi Margaret. Agreed! I wanted to expand a little here and say that in addition to talking with and talking to small children is the art of 'engagement.'. Walt and Alicia not only talk with and talk to the girls, they also heavily engage the girls, which as we can see in the vids, the girls now engage each other and engage others around them. 🥰❣️🥰
Agreed. I loved their conversation regarding Guin being sad leaving the pool, and Ana saying "Huh" in question form at the end of her sentences, like "you agree, Guin?" So smart and sweet they both are.
@Catticus1 I agree with you wholeheartedly! I always have to remind myself that the twins are still only two years old. Their ability to communicate their feelings, and recognize and quickly extend empathy to others, is not something I've ever seen before in such young children. Mom and Dad are providing their daughters with wonderful early childhood experiences and encouraging their girls to feel free to express themselves , as well as teaching them to care about the feelings of others. I suspect that people and other children will be naturally drawn to them, and they will certainly endear themselves to many people they someday meet. It's so sweet to see! 🥰💜💖🤟👍🤟👍
@@lisasuzanne8474 I'm very sorry for your health challenges and so thankful that the girls bring you a little bit of sunshine 🌞. Sending you prayers 🙏🙏🙏😘💞😍😇
Ana wearing her cheese like a bracelet!😂 Dad: “Do you know where milk comes from?” Ana: “I know where it comes from! The fridge!” She is an absolute character 😂
I will never get over how sweet , funny and smart these 2 are. I watch old videos in the middle of the night when I'm not feeling well and they are just what the Dr. ordered. How can you not feel better after watching Ana and Guin 💕
I agree with you. Guinevere becomes very animated when Dada comes in. Her voice gets a lot louder, wants to share her food and today wanted to show him her hair clip right away. Anastasia gets the biggest grin on her face and just keeps watching them. So adorable❤
Hey Ana do you need mini milk? Where does it come from..."in the fridge". She is a little firecracker 😂😂😂. The girls just love talking with mom and dada and they are speaking so well. Beautiful Guin is so thoughtful and loved showing of her new hair clips and sharing she cried having to get out of the pool❤. Guin always wants mom to have lunch and sit down with them. These little girls are so smart... Kudos mom and dada 🤩💓. Thanks for sharing 🙏. Much love ❤️😘
Awww....you are welcome! It is obvious the girls have had Mom and Dad spend quality time teaching them. They are so smart, sweet, and caring. It was so sweet when Ana was talking to Guin about her being sad when they were done swimming and she didn't want to go home. The favorite part of my day is when I watch these two little treasures! See you tomorrow!
I absolutely love how Alicia tells the girls stories of her life while growing up. I did the same and think it's so important for the next generation to learn about family history.
@user-ho8es6ex6s I agree with you! We loved hearing our Mom tell us stories about her childhood, especially when she would recall stories of her grandfather who fought in WWII and brought home a war bride from Florence, Italy. We never tired of hearing those stories!! 😊❣🤟👍
Awww - so cute - Guin tilting her head down to show the Bow barrette in her hair & Ana trying to dig out her necklace to show it to the camera - sweet girls! “I want mini Muk - Puheeese! I’m happy!”😂❤ “Aaahhhh, my finger so sad!” 😂❤❤
Anastasia and Guinevere weren't convinced by their delicious sandwich, but the puffs were quickly gone. 🥰 "Where does the milk come from?" "From the fridge!" 👍🤣 Aww Guinevere, she seems to be really enjoying her time in the pool and hasn't forgotten that she didn't want to go home. I wish the whole Barton family a fantastic day full of fun and games! 💕🌼🙋♀
Anther great video. Their vocabulary grows daily. And I so very much love their imaginations - such a treat and one that will hopefully be a life long asset.for them.
@@Isabella-nd3rq my sister and I wish we kept it up! There were a set of twins on the East Coast I believe that continued to speak that way and only interacted with each other. Their story had a sad ending though. Your girls are just precious and put a huge smile on my face. Especially when one looks at the other for validation 😁
And Mama too. Ana always cuddled up to mom but I've noticed Guin doing it much more lately. And when fireworks scare you no one better to run to than Mama.😊 Mama holding Guin's head and stroking her hair. These girls are loved by both parents and Guin and Ana love both Mama and Dada.
@@jankitteringham8483 I think everyone else calls them fringes in English ? It took me a while to work out what people were talking about, going on about ‘bangs’ .. then I thought oh it’s a ponytail 🤭but no .. I just wonder where the word originated from since it’s not used anywhere else ?
@@jankitteringham8483 I looked it up where the word bangs came from. From the original term bang-off. It’s a North American term as we call the hair on the forehead bangs as well. There are may words we Canadians kept from England but bangs was not one of them. I searched hair fringe and the Wiki article talked about bangs so no history on the word fringe.
I love Guin telling Daddy about her new bow and necklace. And b I th girls love the sour cream puffs. Their vocabulary is exceptional, and this is because both parents speak to them in normal vocabulary and not baby talk. Their little brains are like sponges and absorb language, situations and normal experiences. They will be very intelligent as they grow. Keep up the good learning experiences. ❤😊❤
I am so spoiled at the intelligence of these little ladies and their vocabulary that I find myself taken aback when I see other 2 years olds on You Tube barely putting 2 or 3 words together. I forget that they are probably on target. Ana and Gwen are the exception for sure. So sweet! I could watch all day!
@@user-io3sq4hy6r Thats great! My son didn't really say a whole lot until he was 3 years old, but graduated Summa Cum Laude in college. You just never know.
Good afternoon Barton Family ! Too cute talking about the pool and pretty bow and jewelry. Another nice sandwich. Alicia and Walt, Ana and Guin love you both so much ❤ Enjoy your afternoon. ❤❤🎉🎉
These two are always a amazing twosome to watch. They are always full of questions and answers. Speaking in sentences just like they were older. They definitely will be ready for school when the time comes.❤
Lebanon Bologna. Yummy. It was my mom's favorite. Her grandchildren,my nieces called it grandma's Bologna. Now I am feeling hungry. Love how well your girls enjoy so many different foods.
So adorable.. they are talking so well. How smart they are, colors, numbers and the communication skills just amaze me. I also learned about Lebanon bologna which I'm going to try.
As a retired kindergarten teacher I cannot praise these amazing parents enough! I love the way you are exposing your children to new experiences and especially new foods. I enjoy how lunchtime is educational with questions, recalling, counting, colors and more. It’s so refreshing to see the family reacting to each other rather than being on cell phones or tablets. Great job parents! ❤😊
By any chance, do 2yr and a half yr old 's start to get whiney and drama girls?!! I've heard little girls are just a little bit like that. I only had boys so girls are new to me❤
Alicia: “Where did we see the moon?” Ana: It was in the sky!” Yeah, Mom, what’s wrong with you? Walt: “Where does Minnie milk come from?” Ana : “I know. It comes from the fridge!” Technically, she’s right on both counts. Come on Mom and Dad. These girls are such a source of entertainment. Like I said before, I get dinner and a show when I watch them! Thank you so much!
I am from Amish country in PA. We eat a lot of Lebanon bologna. But my favorite vis Sweet Lebanon bologna. It's so good. My favorite! Maybe you would too.😊 The girls are getting so big. They speak so well!❤
Hello, I love that area of Amish Country. I have been there several times visiting. I am going to have to try the bologna you suggested. It sounds good. Have a good day😊
I just want to say you are such a wonderful mom. I just lost mine in February and you remind me of her. Dadda is such an amazing dad too. Thanks for sharing your beautiful family with us❤
Nice to see parents teaching their children to say please and thank you. People with good manners leave more of an impression on teachers, bosses, police , and pretty much everyone else. Others respond favorably when we use our manners . I love that the girls know some sign language. 🥰
So sweet Guin blowing a kiss to say thank you. ❤ And munching the puffs gotta love it !! And of course the review from Guin they're good. Have a good day sweet little ladies 💜
I heard Ana give the review about the puffs but I didn't hear Guinevere. I will have to go back and rewatch. Sometimes I watch the video two or three times just to catch it all. They are so cute
They are chatty today. Guinevere talking about crying is just too much. I think there’s Oscar buzz….Ana shoved the bologna into her mouth before she thought about it. Their conversations are the best!
Anastasia was so sweet when she was talking to Guinevere. I love it when she said the puffs were so good. Her fingers were sad but not her.😂 Guinevere made me sad when she was talking about crying at the pool.🥲 The way she says it with the facial expressions. 🩷💜 It was nice that Dada said for them to ask nicely for the milk.
My husband is a PA born; you should have them try Lebanon Sweet Bologna. It's the bomb! It's way better than regular. The girls are so cute today. Have a great week~
Hello Girls, Both of you look so beautiful in your hair bows and your jewelry today. So adorable when they both put their head down to show their new hair clips.
They are dressed up today in jewelry looking just to cute, Ana says they are good, they like things that crunch , and you get them to sign more please, I think it is great that they can sign
I was born and raised a couple miles from where they make Lebanon Bologna in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. My old stomping grounds. I have never liked it though! 😂 My twin sons didn’t really eat it much either! There are 31 now
My bologna has a first name, it's O-S-C-A-R My bologna has a second name, it's M-A-Y-E-R Oh, I love to eat it every day and if you ask me why I'll saaaaaay 'Cause Oscar Mayer has a way with B-O-L-O-G-N-A
