Ana calmly ate her whipped cream using her fork properly right side up, even some whipped cream that had dripped on the opposite side of the pie. What an accomplishment for a 21 month old.

Gwen is more adventurous when it comes to trying new foods than Ana. Gwen goes for it, but Ana is more reserved. They're so different but interesting at the same time. Two beautiful blessings❤
I’ve been watching I believe since Thanksgiving, both of your girls are adorable. I have a twin brother and at 62 weve been very much close since elementary school to day. Your precious girls are their own persons and thank you for sharing their journey with me
I loved how Anastasia looked at her pumpkin pie like she was trying to figure out what it was. Then she tentatively (and very daintily) tasted the whipped cream. Guinevere dove right in, and she seemed to really like the whip cream. Never in a million years, though, would I have guessed that Guin would ask for a pickle - so funny! She could have asked for an apple or O's, but nope, she was determined that she wanted a pickle! Ana and Guin were so cute wanting to eat with Mama's fork. I loved how they carefully inspected their fork, Alicia, when you handed it to them. I guess you'll have to make sure to always have pickles at the ready in your pantry now that it seems to be a favorite for the twins. Just curious..did you crave pickles during your pregnancy? 💜💗

Wow, I am surprised at how you can tell their different/distinct personalities from watching them both have snacks. Definitely have an extrovert & an introvert there(like me and my sister). They're very cute and I love the names you gave them!

The girls are a hoot. Totally unpredictable in their food preferences...at that moment. I so enjoy watching their growth in language skills. Also their dexterity in using utensils. Anna really had the animated hand thing going for a few moments. It's amazing the differences they are developing. Your life is very full as we all can see.

@carolynturk-hu7je You are right, that pie did look yummy. Did you know there is such a thing as Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream? I had some earlier this fall. Tasted just like pie, and even had chunks of pie crust scattered throughout. I can't remember the name brand, but I am sure it is a seasonal treat only.
After watching you bake that beautiful all American pumpkin pie and seeing the girls go for pickles l too wanted to grab my fork & devour those two pieces for myself! Your recipe is awesome Alicia 👏

My god daughter was obsessed with pickled garlic at that age we had to stop it eventually as it was too much for her belly 😂 but she wanted it over everything else. No accounting for kids’ palates . Ana loves to dissect her foods while Guin dives in...fingers first! I was an adult before I started to enjoy pumpkin pie and yes it has to be slathered in whipped creme. I love that Guin asked for a pickle and when you confirmed...she said Okay! Such cute girls. ❤😂❤
