TWISTED 1.21 CHASING GUIDE - GOLD 

After a year of joining one or twice a month and giving up I finally found out how to play the game with ur vid, thx

I would honestly recommend the navara scout car more than the probe truck. It costs 13.8k in total while the probe truck costs 69k to get in total. it is has the same probe capacity with 4. The vehicle statistics are generally the same as well.

A couple things worth noting: Using the forecast to check wind direction and visually spotting rotations is often a lot quicker and more accurate than relying entirely on radar, especially when you get very far the southeast of the map where the radar signal is weak or even nonexistent. This is also an important skill to have when the NWS office gets knocked out by a big tornado and you lose radar entirely for a while. Also, you get a small amount of money every couple of minutes from just driving around, and this is usually enough to cover the cost of gas in most civilian vehicles, so exploring the map on quiet days to get the lay of the land can be very helpful, rather than just sitting around waiting for something worth chasing.

Was hoping for a video on the DOW changes in 1.21 (such as how far to tilt the dish based on distance to tornado), and how to maximize profit with it. Used to be the ultimate money printer. Seems to have been nerfed into the ground.

for me i think the scout is the best starter car bc it can hold 4 probes to like v2 but just 5 mph slower and scout only cost 9k

Yesterday I had a Server with Veteran's and and Pretty High Cape. It was a Good Day for everyone... If it wasn't for the fact that the first Tornado refused to move ANYWHERE and constantly kept redirecting and forcing everyone to redeploy their Cars and Probes. The First Storm and Tronado had formed in the West half and we all went to chase it like the good chasers we all were but once we predicted and started setting up our probes the Tornado decided to constantly redirect and move at an actual snails pace for nearly 4 hours forcing everyone to move and move back to the original positions. And then RIGHT WHEN IT WAS ABOUT TO HIT THE ROAD AND THE SERVER CONVOY'S MASSIVE PROBE FIELD. IT LIFTED. Then for the 2nd Tornado we had 1 start halfway across the Map and since the first one had lifted we thought it would end and everyone moved to the 2nd It moved further and even worse the 1st Tornado had touched back down and turned into a Pink TVS but since everyone left for the 2nd there was only 2 Players left chasing it. Most of the Server didn't even reach the 2nd because a DOUBLE Buttcheek looking Duo-Storm had formed near Hibbing and Starbuck with 2 Tornados being Predicted by everyone. I was chasing the 2nd Tornado but by the Time I arrived it was night time and even worse the lag for me caused the Headlights to flat out not Load causing me Blindness and had to navigate via Minimap. And oh YAY the 2nd Tornado was as annoying as the first by flat out being stationary for 2 Hours right next to the road and the 5 Players worth of Probes before lifting right before hitting it and forcing the 5 player gang to redirect to the other Tornado's the other half of the server was chasing. By then it was well Into the Midnight and everyone was annoyed. I didn't even reach the 3rd Tornado before it did something that annoyed everyone there. The whole Server abandoned hopes of the 4 (All Pink TVS) Tornado chase and went back to Prior Lake to argue and show off their Dominators and Tiv's and the Day was a disaster for all of us because we all didn't get our amazing intercepts because the Tornado's kept becoming stationary before hitting the Probe fields on the Road. I screwed around at the station by installing a Toilet in some 2 friends Dominator and leaving them annoyed because I didn't hook it up to a septic tank and used it twice lol. 4 Powerful Tornados. 0 Success due to them being Probe shy

Another thing is if your engine health is too low it will turn off while driving or at least for me

And pls for the love of god ask before you hop in our cars it’s really annoying if your hoping in my t2 without asking

I play on console and haven’t been able to make any money and I just started and none of the Siri ways work and can’t tornado chase because every time I get towards a tornado it disappears 😢

But I have a question, is it my truck (145 mph max), or the map, but whenever I try to chase the tornado, it takes me a lot if time to reach and when I reach it I find our that it's gone and I keep missing it, I could really use some advice

lil problem,buyed the navara with 4 probes capacity and i put the probes down and the nado goes thru it like 120mph but i am not in the nado with the vehicle cuz its not an interceptor but it has a mesonet and the probes show still 16mph wind as my mesonet on the vehicle,is this some kind of bug or is there a solution for it? thankss
