I did the math and reasch on how she lived so here you are. Nel was shot in the head but recovered a few "seconds" later which means her body healed the skin as soon as the bullet passed the cranium when the bullet passed and impossibly healed the cerebellum which controls talking and walking and the cerebellum is also connected to the brain stem and the brain stem connects the brain with the spinal cord. And the weapon the dude pulled out looked to be a desert eagle 50 AE this gun can convert between .50 (these bullets are used against armoured vehicles like APC's and this bullet can pierce it) and .44 caliber rounds (which was used for the 44 magnum one of the first revolving chamber gun's). And a desert eagle 50 AE has the muzzle velocity exceeding 580 m/s (m/s means meters per second) and each bullet's impact is 3796 joules (this is 387.0842744464216 in kilogram-force meter) and in order to heal this kind of wound along with vital brain waves she would have had to heal tenfold faster then the .50 round and 580 times 10 equals 5800 this means she can heal important organs and have then exactly the same a few nanoseconds (a nanosecond is one million times faster than a second) this means she can survive anything that would be fatal so in simple terms she can only be killed by age.
