i grew up in dayton and my mama would always bring up this case whenever we would drive by the abandoned lot where it happened. my mom was pregnant when the murder occurred and it broke her heart

I think I've heard about this before, that's seriously disgusting and infuriating of that evil woman for what she did to that poor baby.

Such a heartbreaking case. It goes to show that some parents are not meant to have children. I have another case suggestion which sadly involves the murder of a child too which is the October 1930 murder of 10 year-old Leona O'Loughlin and attempted poisoning of her detective father Leo, attributed to Leo's wife/Leona's stepmother, Pearl.

That's what I was thinking! He seems like the type of guy who thinks he's God's gift to women and would take rejection terribly. Maybe he tried to initiate sex and she rejected him or just the pure thought of her no longer wanting him drove him to this. He's the type of man who sees women as objects and nothing more. Well she’s appalling at research❗️ An example is the Mick Philpott case,Eleanor said she’d searched everywhere online too find his date of birth. It took me less than a minute using Google to find it😳 He was born on the 1st January 1956. That’s why Eleanor is my last resort when I can’t find anything on RU-vid. That Chapter with Mike ‘Oh’ is much better and unlike Eleanor he’s a one person channel. He researches,narrates and edits all his own videos Eleanor doesn’t edit her videos. Another thing I like about ‘That Chapter’ is he rarely has sponsors because he thinks he’s selling the memories of the victims of crime to the highest bidder! He could make a lot of money as he has nearly 2 million subscribers and his videos gets millions of views. The jury doesn't go based on opinion so much as fact. There was no proof he murdered her in cold blood other than his actions thereafter. So as frustrating as it is, I kind of get why they charged him with manslaughter. I mean there wasn't a lot of proof that his version of events WASN'T true. It was plausible. Stupid, absurd, but technically plausible. Like I fully believe he murdered her outright and got away with it, but how things were presented in court and the jurors themselves might have been the problem. These days for sure a Black man on trial a jury may be lenient because the police might be lying or tampering with evidence. But it is rather weird that Kendra was found guilty of ACCESSORY TO MURDER when the jury also said there was no murder.

@@aromaladyellie yeah you're right about that and it sure is frustrating. Sure is odd when they found Kendra guilty for being an accessory to murder when they found Theodore guilty of manslaughter.

it's not they believed him, it's there wasn't enough evidence for a murder conviction. He's still gonna lose most of his life in prison, so the jury has to be realistic and get what they can.

There is a very old case that happened in the area I’m from in NC. A grandmother was supposed to take her granddaughter to an orphanage but instead put her in a cave, covered it with rocks, and left her to starve to death. I have really been wanting someone to read about the case and hear their opinions on why they think the grandmother did what she did. There is a book called The Legend of Nance Dude that tells the whole story but no one ever learned of her motives.

If she was pregnant they likely would have found a pregnancy test somewhere. Edit: Realistically, they would find a pregnancy test in the trash her place or somewhere like that. If they didn't find one, it's not likely she was. Typically, if police suspect foul play, they check the victim's house/apartmrnt.

She could have taken it prior to the trash being taken out, she could have discarded it somewhere else entirely, or even taken the test at a location other than her house (maybe a friend’s house, his house, hell…even a gas station or a public restroom in a store. Maybe she took the test a week or two before being killed or at a free clinic where you don’t need to give a real name. Tons of variables. Bottom line is: just because a test wasn’t found in her apartment does not mean she wasn’t pregnant.

@@Fallon.34 I know it's not always the case, I'm just saying I highly doubt your theory because - again 9/10 they check that stuff. And if she took a test at a friends house the friend may have told the cops therefore giving the cops that info. The only ways they wouldn't know is if she took it in a public setting but, if she really was so private (she was described as a private person too), I highly doubt she would. Again she may have taken it before the trash was taken out but that's not that high of a chance. Depends on the area when trash days are. When you consider all of the variables it doesn't seem all that likely - at least in this specific case Edit: spelling
