My copy of the game was scratched and I remember sometimes instead of playing the single Trac opening, it would play sweet tooth's ending with really distorted sounds and then freeze with his face on the screen. Gave me so many nightmares as a kid but I still loved the game
The only glitches I can remember off the top of my head are in LA Rumble where you can remote bomb over the map. Also in New York on that one rooftop where you drop down to find swimming pool you can blow up the box to remove the drop and hop onto an invisible box. Enemies will try to ram you and fall into the pool.
Back in the 90’s when you’d play twisted metal at the game store there was a time where the game had already glitched outside of the fence in moscow, thought it was hilarious since you couldn’t reset it yourself
I don't know if anybody every found this or not. And I was going to write into one of those gaming magazines back in the day but never did. Anyway in the Paris level their is a secret full health you can get if you ram a certain part of the bridge you can be down to your last health and it will completely fill it. I found it by mistake one time when I was playing and rammed into it. If you go to timestamp 2:51 in this video look to the left and you see that bridge that goes to the other side you see of the left side looks like its made up of 12 sections or so if you ram the second section of it starting from this end of the bridge it will get you full health. Now its been over 25 years since i played Im very confident its the second one, but I DO KNOW for sure its one of those sections.
LuisParson...question. Been playing this for over 20 years and I wonder if you've encountered/have a explenation for the fact that the enemies will sometimes just completely stop and let you fire away. I find its usually more when you've dealt them some damage already, but I've seen it where they have full health, too. They'll either let you kill them entirely or snap out of it after a bit. Any idea why?
I have seen it too and I've always thought that is part of the AI, something similar like in Carmageddon TDR 2000, when some opponents suddenly remain quiet and peaceful and their status point: "Stalled" or "lurking".
