One of the things that was so great about the Twisted Metal series (and a lot of older games in general.) You get the opportunity to play as your toughest enemies and it's not just a cosmetic.
I was raised in a pretty socially conservative home so I remember being 13 or so and just laying in bed with headphones in listening to this playing from my PSP, my first introduction to hard rock and metal. Super formative for my musical taste.
They should keep the characters who they are, what they want, and have them use only their signature vehicle. I don't like that Twisted metal 2012 had characters in any vehicle, I like for each charatcer to use only the vehicle that goes to their personality, like Marcus Kane in Roadkill, etc., and maybe bring Dark Tooth and Tower Tooth.
They technically did with the PS2 version, but that one was horribly done. They butchered the music by getting rid of the band music from the first arena and making the Dark/Tower Tooth fights have that stupid mini-game music, the animations were half-assed, sounds were cut like in the Cousin Eddy boss fight cutscene, vehicle physics were changed ruining the use of ramps to get items in arenas like Rome and Egypt...Eat Sleep Play really bombed it...
@@Vendetta162X The PS2 version was pretty disappointing, the only thing I think they updated was the graphics but I guess they did let us play some of Twisted metal black 2 since it was cancelled but that's if I'm remembering it correctly. But the PSP version was definitely better.
@@matthewgg9286 Yeah he saw through Calypso's lies and machinations, and apprehended him without saying anything that looked like a wish. Unlike some certain dumb ass cops who got into a heated argument lol.
What a great dance and club songs to dance to! Also the name of this is song is called "Los Angeles Revisited". In case if anyone wants to know the name of this hit song.
@@Matrix803 At least, in Grasshopper's ending, it has been 12 years since Calypso nearly died and since people consider H-O to be a very distant and yet DIRECT sequel to TM2 (implying that TM2 took place one year after TM1), IDK lel
only thing i disliked about the psp version vs the ps2 was 1) there was no weapon animations like seeing a fire missile extend out the rear fender ready to launch, and 2) some of the vehicle models were wonky and plastic looking
What a MEMEORY!! I remember playing this one when I was in middle school! And I always LOVED this song! Sometimes I would be playing in on stereo with the aux cord on my phone. I use to jam and dance to this alot!
Aun recuerdo cuando me regalaron la psp con el twisted metal horas de ocio justo cuando necesitaba escaparme del bullying que me hacian mis compañeros en el colegio. me lo di vuelta con todos los vehiculos :)
I grew up playing this game on the psp frist TW ever played and to me this is the best one buy far !!! The characters there stories ,music everytging perfect bout this game love it!!!!!
Bro recuerdo perfectamente esa epoca, era tan feliz y todo era perfecto, una navidad donde me regalaron una psp y mas encima con un juego maravilloso con este tema, nada que decir uno de mis mejores noches.
I know you cant hear it here but on the psp version you can hear sweet tooth's laugh as the menu appears with this song playing, the same laugh that you hear when you use sweet tooth's special from tmb.
Me and my 3 brothers and sister used to play the heck of this game. We battled all the time and had our own favorite cars. I used spectre all the time due to its speed and special. His is a homing blast that goes through walls? Got to love the cowardice way to fight lol I loved doing insane jumps and turning in mid air to fire at whoever chased me
@@lazydoesvoices I know this is a 5 years comment but thanks a whole lot cus I was looking for this theme for so long but I only found this and another video of the same thing.
simple days indeed, and in those simple days sony really cared about pumping out quality content, unlike these days with their overhyped shovelware games.
@@theragnarok8896 I don't think they made a Twisted Metal for ps4 the only one I seen was Twisted Metal Black that they brought over to the ps4 but Twisted Metal Black originally came out in 2001
@@chadwarden1179 A Twisted Metal for PS4 would be nice but I feel like if they were going to make another Twisted Metal it might be with the PS5 and PS4 since the PS5 is in development right now I believe and they're getting it ready for a 2020 or later release not sure when but I thought I read something about they're making a PS5 but could be wrong but I wouldn't mind another Twisted Metal but I guess time will tell and we'll have to wait and see but it will be cool for sure though.
It was a decade ago I wrote this and I only replied because I just happened to revisit this video and see a comment from my stupid 15 year old self 😅😅 crazy. The TM fan in me never died for a second tho
