I have just found this video and your channel. What I love about this design is that it is clean and elegant, but all you need are paper, scissors and tape. You may not be able to afford grand luxurious presents, but if you are giving a gift that is more modest in budget, you can still wrap it in luxury through time and love.
my condolences for your loss. i bet your father had a hard time opening your gifts because they were so beautifully wrapped! this one looks very easy to do :)
I lost my father to cancer as well in 2004. I too turned my anguish into creative endeavors and won a trip to holland! Good for you! There is nothing better to honor a parent than letting your talent shine!!
Emily Laflin Thank you Emily, and I am so sorry for your loss. That's wonderful that you won a trip to Holland by submitting your artwork! I hope that you will continue to share your art with the world!
Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us...I really enjoy your videos very much! My sincere condolences for your loss. I hope with time, you will be able to find peace in the wonderful memories you shared with your dad. May I ask: Where do you find such beautiful paper that you use in your videos? I don't think ordinary gift wrap would give such a dimensional effect. Thank you in advance for your help with this question. Take care...Barb G.
I look so forward to all your videos. Please keep them coming. I would love to see a package wrapped for a baby gift. I have a "design" that I use over and over for baby gifts but really need some new ideas
I am sure your father was filled with joy at receiving your beautifully wrapped presents. Would you let me know where you purchased your gorgeous wrapping paper? Thank you - Jade
Jade Quek Thank you Jade! I believe that I purchased this paper from Lee's Art Shop NYC. You can search the word "Washi Paper" and be able to find many online stores as well as retail shops carry Japanese Washi Paper like the one in the video :)
+Paper Guru Gorgeous work and lovely story! It looks like the paper that you are using is thicker than regular gift wrap, would you mind sharing the soecific type of paper/ a link where we might be able to find it? Thank you!! :-)
