This is a real time tutorial for how to make a twisted ribbon effect card topper, but I make two in one go!
You will need the following-
Trimmer
Scissors
Glue - preferably wet glue so that you can ‘slide’ the strips of paper into place.
6*6 DSP
A4 card
Topper uses the following -
White card - 2 1/4” by the full length of the A4 piece of card, then scored every 1”
The 6*6 dsp is the cut into 12 1/2’ strips. You will use 6 for the back layer of the twist and the other side of the dsp for the top layer.
Once you have made the long topper, you can cut to the size you need for the top of the card.
In this card the base card uses Beige from Stampin’ Up!
8” by 5 3/4”, scored at 4” on the longest side and folded.
Base layer of the topper is in Granny Apple Green and is 2 1/2” by 5 3/4”
Topper is cut to 5 1/2” and laid on top
