I must admit that I'm not that great at putting my thoughts into words and the fact that English is not my first language probably doesn't help😅 Heartslabyul 0:18 Riddle: I think this song really fits him well, especially Anneliese’s part. Even when he was young, he stated that his favorite part of his day was when he wasn’t following his mother’s schedule and had some control over his own life and decision. His mother has pretty much planned his life out for him ‘till he turns like 50. He wants to be free, he doesn’t want to constantly follow every single rule, but it is the only way he knows to keep the pain away. 0:45 Riddle 2: This song his backstory more. Trey and Che’nya really wanted to play with him, they wanted to be his friend, which is what Riddle really craved at that point in his life. He wants to go out there and meet more people. 1:23 Ace: He’s a bit of a troublemaker and this song definitely fit’s his vibe. This song is literally the two main characters causing trouble for everyone in their lives. He is also still very immature, so the lyrics “People say, they say that it's just a phase They tell me to act my age, well I am” fit him really well. 2:02 Ace 2: Just like Perfect Day, Making My Way fit’s his troublemaker persona. I must admit I have no more justifications than “I like the song and Ace would vibe with it” 2:40 Deuce: Deuce really want’s to be an honor student to make his mother proud and distance himself from his delinquent past, but the simple truth is that he isn’t and will most likely never be and that is fine. He doesn’t need to change as much as he thinks for anyone’s approval. 3:25 Cater: This song really fits that whole ‘Let’s pretend everything is fine, but it’s not’ vibe he’s got going on. He has this very outgoing personality and is friendly with everyone, but he wishes he could be friends with people on more than a superficial level. He will join in on the fun and pretend he is fine, but in reality, he is not 3:59 Trey: I must admit I really struggled finding anything for him and just couldn’t find anything better. But I do think it kind of fits how he views himself as the only “normal” person in NRC (He is not) Savanaclaw 4:44 Leona: Leona has essentially been told his whole life that he isn’t worth shit, especially compared to his older brother and he kind of views himself as a failure. Most of the peptalks he gives other characters basically boil down to ‘don’t turn out like me’. and yet, he can come of as very cocky at times, as if he does see some value in himself, which really fits this song 5:24 Jack: This really fit’s Jacks admiration for Leona and how he originally inspired him to enroll in NRC. 5:59 Ruggie: I don’t know how exactly to explain it, but it just fits for some reason. Octavinelle 6:42Azul: How can I refuse just really fit’s his scheming personality. Preminger’s voice also just really fits Azul for some reason. 7:18 Azul 2: Azul may give up a very confident appearance, but in reality, he struggles seeing his own self value. He is worth so much more than what he thinks of himself 7:52 Jade: To be honest, I really couldn’t find anything else for him that would fit his personality better, but I do imagine that this is pretty much how he acts on hiking trips. 8:27 Floyd: This is the song that originally inspired me to make this video. It just appeared in one of my playlists and thought that it kinda gave off ‘Lost in the book with Stitch’ Floyd vibes and that is my only justification for this. Scarabia 9:06 Kalim: This is more how Kalim feels about his relationship with Jamil than the actual reality. Even after book 4, Kalim still views Jamil as a friend even after Jamil straight up stated that he hates Kalim. They have and extremely unhealthy codependency on each other. A darker reading into the song could really show that well. 9:44 Jamil: “If I wasn't meant to fly I wouldn't have these wings”. Jamil wants nothing more than to fly away and be free. But due to his family and their relations to the Asims he can’t Pomefiore 10:31 Vil: This just really fits his desire to be the very best (like no one ever was) and the constant obstacles he has to overcome 11:22 Epel: The ‘Here I am’ parts of the song could be representative of his actual personality that he wishes he could show to the world more, while the ‘Princesses just want to have fun’ part could be the innocent act that he puts on in Pomefiore. 12:08 Rook: This could really have two meanings when related to Rook. On one side, this could be him telling Epel “This is what you have to do to not piss Vil off” and on the other, it could also be him learning all these things just after he transferred from Savanaclaw to Pomefiore Ignyhide 15:28 Idia: “Nothing's real and nothing matters Fell apart the pieces scattered I could disappear without a trace I'm all around but can't get in I'm on the outside looking in But like the wind I'll blow you all away” I feel as this is pretty self-explanatory 16:03 Ortho: This just fits Ortho and Idia at the end of book 6 when Ortho becomes self-aware and chooses to be Idia’s brother Diasomnia 16:45 Malleus: This song fits how Malleus wishes he doesn’t have to lose the people he cares about. Even though this is meant to be a love song, it also works for the platonic love Malleus feels towards his family. 17:23 Silver: Whenever I listen to this song, all I see is that pink and blue cloudy background from Sleeping Beauty, just like Silver’s Meet in a Dream 18:11 Silver 2: THIS JUST FITS 18:55 Sebek: If only he was as easy to find a song for as the other Diasomnia characters. In the end I ended up going with this one because he would risk his life for the other Diasomnia members with zero hesitation. Tbh all members would risk their lives without hesitation fort he others 19:47 Lilia: I was debating using this song for both Silver and Malleus at some point, but in the end I went with Lillia. I laughed through Riddle's (1st), Ace's, and Deuce's a lot! But I don't get Jack's choice. I don't know much about him outside of being a family guy, tough, but soft once you get to know him, and that's about it. His song might've fit Ruggie, Epel, or Vil better in my eyes, but just a thought.
Yeah, I understand what you mean. My line of thought for Jack was more how he was originally inspired to go to Night Raven College after seeing Leona play and how he kinda looked up to him, but now that you mention it I do see the song fitting Ruggie, Epel and Vil as well :)

Azul is so Preminger vibe I can’t see him any other way 😂. He would slay in that role, absolutely should request Vil drag the others into Barbie movies.
Some entries surprised me, some made me laugh, but I know Azul and Epel’s songs were my favorites. Suit the characters’ stories the best and just great to come back to for nostalgia.
Unbelievable really fits Leona so much. He's proving people wrong that he is nothing like his brother because Leona is who he is. 😊 you show them, my lion hubby.
@ThatRandomGirlOnTheInternet I liked Leona from the beginning. Hehehehe. But for me, I didn't like Azul at first. Didn't hate Azul. After that, I started to like him. 😊 Speaking of Azul. "How Can I Refuse" REALLY fits Azul so much. It's accurate, especially in Book 3. 😂

I understand why someone would disagree with that song. My though process was mostly about his insecurities and how he doesn't really see how impressive he really is, with or without his magic abilities
