I actually like how Glen Powell's vehicle is a red Dodge Ram, sort of like a slight nod to Bill Paxton's red Dodge Ram in Twister (even though Powell's is VERY heavily modified).

Glen Powell controlled the film from his first entrance. I thought everyone else lacked chemistry or fit for the role but I will say Daisy Edgar Jones did grow into the role from the Stillwater Rodeo scene onwards. Until then I felt she was completely miscast. Credit to her!

She is "the" movie from the very start. She hugs the screen and I totally felt her warmth with her face and talent when she appeared.

Dude I experienced the exact same thing. I felt the beginning of the movie was so dry and predictable, mainly because her backstory is in my opinion less powerful than the original, but when we see Glen and Daisy’s chemistry I was intrigued, and by the end I was completely invested.

She was meant to play the awkward role uncomfortable with being in this field again. She didn't "want" to be reliving this particular experience thus the awkwardness. Glenn Powell's character did an awesome job drawing her back out of her shell and embrace her true character. In the beginning she was all smiles and laughing and loving it but she lost that with the death of loved ones that she blamed herself for.

I actually disagree. Is she a charismatic driving force? No. But that's not what she's supposed to be. She's supposed to be timid and scared to fully commit to the field again after the opening events. But she eventually comes back to who she is over the course of the film. She's perfectly cast

I do some storm chasing for fun and after watching this I've decided to try and deck out my chasing truck to look like the one in this clip 🤣 I will say tho, I wish chasing nados was this intense. I only caught 2 ef-2's last summer which was still pretty amazing but it was no where as intense as this movie paints it

Who the F brings a trailer through those conditions. I've heard real chasers explain why they dont bring trailers. It feels like it should be common sense actually. He is also way too clean for that dirty of a truck. That hat is clean though, no lie...
