I think it has to do with Nami E and lucians passive which deals alot of damage. Idk which one was buffed but its super strong. They can 100-0 u at lvl 2

Lucian can get off a lot of auto-attacks because of his passive and proc press the attack really quickly. Nami just enhances 3 of his auto-attacks with her E and heals him and damages the enemy with W. It's a massive amount of damage you can deal at level 2. There's literally no skill involved in it.

The gold you get from assists is reduced early in the game. You only get 50% until 1:30, after that it starts ramping up every second and it's only after 3:30 that you start getting 100%. So when Rat got the assist, it was 1:52, which is 22 seconds after 1:30. The gold you get increases by 0.416% every second. 22 * 0.416 + 50 = 59.152 ; 150 * 0.59152 = 88.728. You round that up to 89 and voila, that's why he got 89 gold for the assist.
