for that highlight combining thing , if like ur downloading the highlights already u could just use like a video editor and put the highlights all in there , if it's for only 1 video i think that should help maybe i hope
To fix the problem hes mentioning at the end...downloa ur highlight send through google drive on ur phone... once in phone play it as ur screen recording .... once screen recorded cut the segments like you did on twitch... then open inshot app and reorder them how u want. Or cut the segments straight in the inshot app make a new video and insert diff clips for one video... theres limitiations yes but theres so much tech laying all around us there should be no reason to try and cut corners hope this helped anyone! Great video i learned something new today... i use to download then re arrange but with this highlight feature it cut my time in half

Thanks this was pissing me off because you have to be clicked outside of the highlighted area to make a new segment and that was confusing to figure out. Nice video.

@ShadowLucario What? No, I'm talking about the export to RU-vid feature on Twitch's website. They have a feature where you can export clips and VODS to your RU-vid channel. And they have a box at the bottom that says "Split the video in to 15 minute segments." But when you check it, it does literally nothing, instead exporting the entire VOD to RU-vid as if you hadn't checked it. It's completely broken.
Are highlighting videos the same thing as cutting off parts of my video? There are parts off my video that I want to cut off so I can make my videos shorter to watch.
when i download it, its out of sync, any ideas why? Edit - its not out of sync until i put it into premire pro cc, i want to edit a few things but its out of sync

Can't find anything on Xbox, I tried a highlight multiple moments but the first one I get takes up majority of the video and all the other ones failed to load in or count as a highlight. Say I stream for a couple hours, 15 minutes on either side our normal and the center is a huge highlight. It's like the reverse splitting segments for editing videos, is there a way to select how long the highlights are going to be beforehand?
I could do it manually just not automatically manually I have to adjust it and set the highlighter manually which is time-consuming on mobile and distracting I want to not have to watch through and search for moment. Notice there's a product but I don't plan on getting anything I was looking for and in device method or plans to enhance the phones features... everything else is out of budget and for safety reasons I don't feel secure at home ATM

Do all the highlights have to come from the same stream? Like what if I have a few short streams with highlights in then and I want to edit together the highlights from those streams??
If my buddy wanted me to take short segments from a multiple different streams, and then put them together into a compilation video? Could I do that? Do you know what software I could use for that ? And then could they upload it to their channel somehow?
A question, after I done my highlight and just downloaded it and wanted to watch it again through that downloaded mp4, it lagged and stopped at some points on the video, but actually on twitch the video its fluent, so only the downloaded video is bad, what can I do ?
Ok can someone help I know this is an old post! When I’m using the highlighter tool after editing my clips and publishing to twitch, the processing just goes on for ever, if you refresh the page it’s done however the video freezes, audio is not in sync either this is also the case when I upload the file to Instagram? Any help would be much appreciated?
i learnt to use highlights to make smaller clips and export to youtube but only recently found out i can carve up multiple clips and have them a small montage. this feature is only reason i use twitch with restream. i still cant get affiliate impossible get 3 concurrent views it always say i have 0.20 / 3. i get more traffic views on youtube than twitch.
i published my highlight of the video, but it only shows up in a different folder and isnt the default video shown on my channel. it still just begins playing the entire stream.
How many of you actually watch VODs, especially if it's of people that you don't normally follow or watch regularly? Unless it's a tutorial stream or something like that, I never do.
Hey your video was made in Feb but I heard that in April Twitch made it where you can't upload any videos unless you are Twitch Affiliate so I'm assuming that means that I can't use this video until I'm Twitch Affiliate and should just mark it as save for later. I was wondering if you can confirm that my assumption is correct.
I made that mistake too!! (Starting instead of adding) and only noticed after publishing... Another suggestion I'd make is for them to add some transitions. Simple ones would be great.
I’m having trouble with this I thought I set it up correctly it seemed pretty self explanatory. But when I hit /marker or go to twitch and hit the button it says “something went wrong please try that quick action again”
Seems nice, i always watch my stream to take the good moments and make youtube videos, epic kills in gaming gameplay or funny moments, knowing all the details might help.
This is great and all but why is it that when I highlight certain bits and trim them the quality turns pretty bad compared to the original stream/ vod?.. I might just record my vod then trim it with other software and not twitch.
