The amount of actual racists in North America is at the lowest it's ever been literally ever. The amount of true racist people is by far the vast minority. Literally every single state held blm protests even the ones we label as racists. Things have changed but the media doesn't want us to realise that. Statistical analysis is ok for research however it's really not the best as it lacks context and you also have to question who funds the actual research. But if you want them the hate crimes this year is at a statistical high from what it's been which makes sense. The group's that were taking the biggest hits were the blacks and the whites (black people 50%… white people 30%) the interesting thing is that this number has not only raised for black people but also for white people as well who were originally lower on the hate crime tier list. It does make sense that this occured because we have a massive divide between two groups of people based on their skin color. However the most interesting part about hate crimes as a whole is that whole is while they are associated with race the thing that connects them all is income level. The poorer a place is the higher their level of hate crimes. And this makes sense it comes down to asset procurement. Even places with higher levels of triple K activity are lower for hate crimes if they have more money. And you can see this in the rhetoric racist people say "they are coming over here to take our jobs" "they are lazy and a drain on our resources" the issue likely has nothing to do with race but rather a lack of money which has been an issue because of political elites hoarding money. I mean you see this sort of thing even in black communities. If you are from a different block or gang you are liable to be shot because you are stealing their resources.

It's a social phenomenon where people feel like they finally have some semblance of power in the world. It can be intoxicating to anyone, especially those who have been disempowered in any way in their lives..so pretty much everybody. Social media has exposed a lot of ugly sides of humanity.

I dislike when people ask content creators to say "lgbtq+ rights!" Or "black lives matter". Of course they do matter but asking someone big to say it outloud won't change anything
So according to Twitter, parents should be parents when talking about WAP and other sexually explicit music (which I agree) but when talking about racism (something that is objectively bad) its the duty of video game related content creators to teach kids.
I find it dangerous that parents expect random strangers online to educate their kids about race, sex, and identity. They have a 1/3 chance of either a predator online or an idiot poisoning their minds.
I'm just tired of hearing "white privilege" idk if it is different in other parts of the world or what but here I have never once had it easy or better for being white, no one has just given me the world cause I'm white, I'm a highschool dropout just now figuring out my life. I fail to see where my white privilege lies exactly my life has been the furthest thing from privileged. if anything I see privilege in races except whites more and more in recent days, they quite often get away with things such as racism and have support of white hating media, have the ability of speaking any opinion and being protected against anything someone might say to object especially if white. as a white person I have gotten dirty looks, experienced racism first hand. and I have seen white people often lambasted and excluded from conversations or sharing opinions because they are white. the way I see it is it is just a buzz word but because white people are tagged as the devil now it only matters against them even though privileges can be pointed out in any demographic, not even just race. take rich people for ex. I just be kind in general to anyone that doesn't give reason otherwise, a simple philosophy that has done well so far.

as someone who genuinely believes in social justice and BLM, i just find this shit annoying. i, personally, speak about politics because it impacts the people i care about. but, not every single content creator has to voice their opinion on it, and no one should have their gender(their serious gender; not the "Apache attack helicopter nor/mal type shit) discriminated against or used as an insult against the person. isn't that what we're fighting for? the rooting out of discrimination and bias based on aspects of being?
