Irl, there are 2 surviving Baldwin New York Central Sharknose Locomotives, no. 1206 and 1216. They were in storage since 1982 and haven't been seen since, until 2020 when thy were pulled from storage for the 1st time in almost 40 yrs. Today both Sharknoses are in storage again, awaiting to hopefully be acquired by a Museum.
Mr. Gustave... Magically by his fine experience and expertise will restore these units to their former glory... The night movements are excellent..... All the Best... George
Abandoned D&H Sharknose and CN F unit found. They were found by a former Southern switcher in a grain elevator and they were in really bad shape. Gustavtime GP9 took them out of the grain elevator and now they're on the path to restoration. CN #3210 and D&H #1216 getting a second chance at life.
Love that SOU SW15 patch lol. Also is that D&H unit a RF-16? If so, it is one of two along with 1205 stored on the ELS Railway, and the owner said he is not letting go of those things until he dies, and when he dies, the two WILL be donated to a museum. There's no way around that.
