Charlie's facing some problems concerning relationships. He's looking for some help in the book store. Season 5, episode 18 (If My Hole Could Talk). I do not own the rights of the content in this video.
The ironic thing about self-help books are, you're following the advice of someone else. So therefore its not self help because if you could help yourself, then you wouldn't need the book. xD
That's the biggest flaw of such things. They call it self-help, but if you could help yourself, you wouldn't need those books to begin with. Since you're relying on the advice of others, it's basically no different from following a Bible
I know it’s a sitcom but at 2:34 it reinforces why it’s wrong for men to be dismissive of being vulnerable. Men shouldn’t at all be shamed for it or be seen as weak.
@@asm7406 Help implies other people providing aid. If you do it yourself, it's not help. Like when people say "I don't need help" when doing something. That's the point.
"if you're not vulnerable, you can't feel anything." "Yeah..and?" LMFAO, story of my life right there. I I've been trying to feel again for the last year and still can't.
I remember seeing Susan Blakely in The Perfect Nanny. Her character's right about men being afraid to be vulnerable. I believe it has something to do with pride and macho ego stuff.
25 bucks for a hard cover book? And he's complaining? In my shittie ass country call Brasil a regular cover book it's on the range of 45-50 bucks. I'd die for 25, Jess I can't stand this crap of a country, my live long dream it's to live in the US
