Jay Park is never really afraid to try new things as a performer and artist despite people not supporting him in Korea and that's why I love him as a performer and vocalist
Jay Park is super successful in Korea, has set a lot of trends even impacted the culture significantly. Even has many chart bangers & longevity as an artist. Korea likes Jay Park, this notion that they don't is something international (mostly kpop) fans has pushed ever since the scandal back in 2009 which is long dead & forgotten. Nowadays if anyone doesn't like him it's international kpop fans on twitter that are crazy hypocritical.

Sorry in advance. Stan twitter doesn't like Jay because: 1 - He has worn dreads 2 - He has responded somewhat foolishly/hastily to cultural appropriation slander online 3 - He used "Allah" in one of his raps 4 - Because he's not a two-faced doll wearing a mask like a big part of the idol industry promotes idols being In stan twitter the cool thing to do is to dislike Jay. Most are just jumping on the bandwagon because it's easy & they need an outlet. Remember these are mostly teenagers or terminally online people. They'll feast on any negativity they can get. They aren't actually acting out of any morally sound interest. They'll ignore all the positivity & all the good deeds he has stacked up times infinity over the years & continues to do & they single in on a few mishaps. If they were mature adults they'd realize that people's character aren't black or white. People make mistakes. I'm not saying you have to like the guy. I'm asking, do his silly mishaps outweigh all the good? Is he a bad enough person to focus so much hatred on? These stans kpop stans spend energy on hating Jay but will spend 0 energy fighting for any legit cause. They're not serious & most are simply immature or not great people themselves, projecting.
