You're so unique with these videos man, every shot , piece of music and narration fits together so perfectly. One of my biggest inspirations man, keep doing you!
Spencer, thank you for doing next level films on youtube. I love the clock for feeling emotions for 15 mins idea. An excellent and important message for my well being here.
Glad you uploaded, you work 70hrs a week and you still come out with a video that is able to make us think and touch our hearts. Thanks, i’ll defo try the 15mins method next time.
you have inspired me so much. You're so unique in how you do everything. Please never stop making new videos. I've missed coming onto youtube and seeing your new videos.
Thank you for this - watching this in 2021 and related so heavily to your recognition of your unhealthy patterns and the commitment to feeling and then responding appropriately and moving forward. So thank you Spencer for your brilliant words and lovely filmed and edited video.
Awesome video. Awesome description! Glad you decided to take it off the shelf and put it out here. I appreciate the vulnerability. Needed this today man! Gonna have to try this fifteen minute strategy!
I feel sad. That's because, this video is the last. I'd like to say thank you! Thanks to your videos, words, thoughts. Your videos is really has a unique style. The "MadeBySpencer" style! It is so cool. I hope we will hear from you soon and you'll be back here. Wish you all good! Again love your work!
I can’t believe that I am considering switching from my cannon to a sony after watching this video. Your cinematography and framing is so beautiful.. I love your color correction/grading, assuming you have done that. Thank you for making your videos. I hope to see more, they are always so inspirational and awesome. Thank you.
You're a legend bro! What incredible writing and visuals to die for! Watching you're videos makes me feel present and you know in the moment. I don't know how you do it, but keep on doing your thing :) I'd love to see you at work, making magic happen. See you in your next video and you have a good day!
Dude, I miss your online presence. Your videos were low-key inspirations. Your artistic approach was so stylish and extremely clean. More than that though was your vulnerable heart, which in my opinion at times expressed flawed outlooks on life (i.e. the marriage/relationships video). Nonetheless, your introspective communication resonates with me and resounds loudly. I'm sure I will see your future creations on a larger platform in due time. People with your particular type of dedication toward this craft can't help but garner wide ranging appeal and recognition. Perhaps one day, I'll be a fellow creative collaborator. Perhaps you and I, as well as several others who value this art will lead the next era of filmmaking. Until then, continue on in the never ending endeavor!
fucking spencer back at it with these killer videos.. dude honestly need ur motivational speaking on the daily.. its a struggle day to day living with anxiety. ur videos help me and get me through whatever im going through and i thank you so much for that. would honestly love if you made videos weekly or something. ur like a therapist to many. even though you might not see it or want to be it. i appreciate the work you do
Loved this video Spencer! Gonna give this strategy a go too cos I've recently been overcome with a lot of feelings and been a worse version of myself. Thanks for sharing and amazing videography as always 👌
This video brightened up my day in the best possible way. Thank you for sharing this and for showing such vulnerability... it's so refreshing to see. I wish more of my male friends had a mindset like this.
When I first looked at this video, I thought it was very good. And then I saw the subscriber count... it didn't match up. Why does someone who makes very high quality videos only have 5 thousand subscribers? It doesn't make sense until I look further. RU-vid needs to make their recommendation algorithm work for high quality videos but it favors frequent consistent videos. Since it takes a while to make these videos and with other filming work, uploads aren't daily. But I'm glad this channel focuses on high quality short films instead of daily disposable content.
I want to feel every emotion fully, and let it pass too. I embrace awkwardness, embarrassment, loneliness, and I try to face all my fears. I think most people try to avoid feeling these things, but sometimes I just like to sit in it and ask myself why they came to be.
comparing a 9 year old and one of the best leaders the world ever had. beautiful stuff as always. I'm always mind blown how incredibly relateable your content is, the way you express your thoughts... nothing but great and raw. Please keep doing them, I also really appreciate all the text below the videos, they make the videos just that much better. Fun fact, I remember watching your content for the first time on new years 2016/2017. I sat there at 5AM after oversleeping the fireworks because I bottled up my emotions and hanging out with my friends would have forced me to open up that bottle. I binch watched all of your recent content that morning... and I probably experienced something similiar you've experienced in that hotel room. In a different way, for different reasons, but I still feel like I can really relate how you felt about watching that ted talk over and over again. I was depressed and I didn't feel understood, your content reminded me that there are people that can releate, that telling a story through visuals and audio can have great impact... and it was then that I realized that I was chasing that impact as a long term goal. Crazy to think that that's exactly 1 year ago in just 2 days. I'm in a good place now, 2018 is looking bright, for now. You were a big inspiration, thanks for that. You know what, I'm setting my self a goal, I want to make one of these videos with my own style by this time next year. The other day I had the thought of how "living in the moment" can actually be "playing the short term game rather than the long term game". Making Investments/sacrifices and trading those for "moments" to create a solid base to play the long term game for actual happiness rather than "instant" gratification. - This might not make sense without any context, but I feel like it kind of does, especially if you work 70 hours a week with a goal. I'm just not sure how valid this thought is, can it be this black and white? This thought is in an early state, it might be fun to document how my view on the concept will change within a year. I think this might be my first new years resolution ever. That might be the video title right there. My first new years resolution ever. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with the world Spencer! Phil
Haven't seen your videos in awhile (on deployment). But I thought of you (randomly) while reading about identity and reflection. Found this video on your blog post actually. I really enjoyed it and I agree with your thoughts. Gratitude is an important trait and so is humility. Taking a step back -- a breather -- gives us clarity and a solution to continue moving forward. Thanks for this. I needed it. 👍🏻 P.S. Love the audio quality for every voice over. May I ask what your set up is and how I can achieve such an effect? Thanks in advance.
Hey brother. I love your videos and honestly can say you're by far my favorite youtuber. I'm a huge fan of your visuals and the overall emotion and story behind every single video. That being said, there's something special about this video. Every single shot was exceptionally gorgeous, I love this so much. And if I may ask, as an aspiring cinematographer / filmmaker, what camera do u use?! Have a wonderful day man, your videos make my day :) - Ori
Question, how long does it usually take you to produce a video from brainstorming to final render? And how long for this one? I always like to compare my workflow to others. Thank you Spencer!
