Thought I'd share my technology troubles. This video was extremely painful to edit as I've had THREE external hard drives start dying on me! Then the action camera footage kept freezing my laptop. So glad I finally managed to produce a video in the end.

Wow a beautiful big house! You remind me of my journey building my 1st home. I'd camp in my wooden tent and had an old wooden nail box with an electric ring in it to cook on. Everything would get thrown in one pot. I'd have to clean up all the wood shavings and sawdust before I could cook 😂 kids would ride little bikes and play in the big rooms. Such a fun time 😊

Ah my grandpa would approve! Pulleys and levers, you can move mountains. Watched as a child as grandpa ( in his sixties) moved his ton weight machinery and furnace from his old shed and lab 50m to his new shed/lab. He was an independent gold assayer. The knowledge came in handy at my first home as I dug a flat area out behind my house and terraced the hill side. Levering out large to very large rocks and building walls with them. It all still stands firm fifty years later.

It's sealing under the eaves and under the deck, putting on the battens on all the wooden parts, finishing the roofing with the fireplace area and top edge. Sure I've missed something... Lots of little fiddly bits!
