This video follows two BNSF manifest freights travel up the Mountain Subdivision on my G scale layout. We first follow an eastbound freight, primarily made up of woodchips and paper products. This freight is powered by 3 dash 9’s. The lead unit is foreign power, a NS dash 9. The second train we follow is a westbound, led by a UP dash 9, also foreign power and a BNSF SD70 ACE in the BN executive paint scheme. Both trains meet at the summit of my subdivision. The eastbound holds the main while the westbound travels over the cross over and onto the siding. Once the westbound clears and the eastbound gets the signal, it slowly powers up and continues on its eastbound journey.
