Boat crash at Black Point Marina ! M.U.I at fault. No boat ramp fights today just good ol Chit Show. My name is Alfred Montaner Host of the Chit Show at Black Point Marina.
I'm originally from Fort Lauderdale I live in Spartanburg SC I hate it I found you channel I wanna come home 😭 I love how you communicate with people Chit show🤣😂
That's a good analogy. Dunk tank guy. Goad them into making mistakes! Mrs. Montaner, you NEVER sound like a fool but your husband is sounding a little silly! Ha ha.
I have lived from Miami Beach to the Midwest and to be honest the most cautious of boaters I have seen are located on the Ohio River where there is a huge undertow current and 90% of them have a slick throttle response and can slide a boat into some small slips without issues. It's kinda boring, but it's also an art to see them maneuver their watercraft without issues. SMOOTH LIKE SILK. 👍
Lol yeah ok bud. Docking a 30 ft center console in strong tidal current, wind and heavy traffic is a little different than docking the 14 ft ss minnow at a dead ramp on a river or pond. Also, a lot of the people you see on these videos are clearly very new to boating. Hence why they’re on the chit show.
Thanks for the content. Hey, maybe they should require a boat driving license for boats over so many ft. in length. To show you can handle a boat and load, launch it. Maybe they do, i just didn't do a Brave search of the net. I'm a fresh water boater in the upper mid-west and have never seen this kind of stuff. How can they communicate and think straight playing the annoying loud music? We do river fish with a lot of current but our lakes are beautiful. And so far this year our best tasting fresh water fish are on the bite, it's called the walleye. Here just copied this off a cooking book "Many cooks consider walleye to have the best tasting flesh of any freshwater (even saltwater) fish". If you ever make it up to North Dakota I'll take you out fishing and we'll cook some up.
i WAS GOING IN YOUR FAVOR ALFRED TILL I HEARD from your wife, she is correct, you are the driver, you should be driving with 100% on driving! and which is it water moc or python ? either way a short shot gun can handle it.
Bob Seager Against The Wind is NOT country music Bro. lol. Now you need to educate these people if they snug a foreword line up, put the motor in reverse and turned towards the dock it will draw the boat to the dock instead of fighting with pulling one rope or pulling on the railing to try to get the boat back to the dock.
ALFRED! ALFRED! THE WIFE, Driving? She Just threw you Under the Bus! Your a Fan? "Side to side Driver"! true love Alfred! Thrown Right the Busses Front & Rear Tires! and BTW My Wife Would Do the Same thing to me! Ha Ha! Married 40 yrs Here! True Love I guess..LOL oh and We Have Actual "Murder Hornets" in Washington State! They Suck! Have a Wonderful Day Alfred! "Chit Show Rocks Across the Country!"
BUSTED BAD DRIVER...... lmao!!!!! She's still alive right? and the kids? You have to be aware of your surroundings so why is she saying you are a bad driver.. Maybe just maybe she is just a BAD PASSENGER.... HAHAHA!!!
Alfred, I just don't understand it, why would somebody #1 shut their engines off before they are tied up and #2 raise them out of the water? Growing up in Central Florida boating and skiing we would never shut the engine off until we are completely tied off.
I live on Lake Sydney Lanier in GA. Traffic on the north end of the lake where I live is mostly pontoons, runabouts, and murder hornets. Fisherman on bass boats also zip around fairly frequently. The rentals don't make it up this far, thank goodness. Captain skill levels range but are generally quite a bit more competent up here. There is a single heavy party area that can be avoided if you want to. Now south lake, below Brown's bridge...that's a whole other story. Lots more traffic of all kinds, including blowboats and big offshore boats, which no one knows how to deal with. More rentals and day-captains. I go into a very conservative defensive driving mode when down there. Watching folks dock at the gas docks is lots of fun. They just added a sort of ferry service that goes between the big marinas and several of the party islands. Not sure if that's going to be successful, but now you can go get wasted on 3 Sisters even if you don't own a boat. We own a toon and small fleet of murder hornets...don't hate me!
Not much lake current but rivers like the Mississippi and St. Croix there is. So you have to take advantage and dock from the North side if you can. Or go to the county park with a protected harbor with no current. The St. Croix gets lots of boating activity. It dumps into the Mississippi just South of St. Paul, MN. Great place to boat.
In San Diego we have lakes, the coast, Gulf of Baja and access to the Southern Colorado River. We pretty much are the most bitchen anglers and waterman on the planet with the possible exception of some parts of Australia. You guys do have a concentration of wealth invested in Near Shore gear and you have the best collection of badass Cigarettes on the water, but our boys just set the speed record at Havasu (200+) on a Skater a month or so ago! If you grew up fishing offshore here you have acquired a special set of both offensive and defensive maneuvering. A real shit “rodeo” goes down at 4:30 am at the bait receivers 🤣. But we absolutely have to e weekend clowns 🤡 same as everywhere. If you have watched an Havasu Site Six launch ramp hilarity you will understand the peer pressure and hazing we apply mercilessly to “river rookies” and “sea puppy’s”. It hastens the acquisition of skills 😑🤘
That’s Bob seger & the silver bullet band playing …but that’s definitely more country than todays country music eventhough Bobs a Rocker…. Just a side note for the chit show . Lol
Up here in Michigan its almost fish fly season which means that for 3 weeks or so anything white or illuminated around the lake will be covered with fish flies. Once the flies complete the 24-36 hour life cycle they will pile up and smell like dead fish.
We road-tripped to the Black Hills earlier this month. I drove our truck and travel trailer the entire way. Once there, my memory slipped and I let my wife drive for a day and my anxiety was through the ROOF.
Yes Alfred, we have Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri and starting Memorial Day weekend all the crazy partiers invade that lake. Many large cabin cruisers, they even have an annual boat race from one end of the lake to the other. High speed super charged speed boats and it's nearly impossible to fish at that point. A buddy of mine got his bass boat swamped by a huge wave, broke his visor on the consol, and lost about $5 grand in tackle and repairs.
Hey Alf, on the snake video, when you are talking about the snake, something popped its head up out of the water near the front of the second boat by the filet table. I couldn't figure out what it was
Oh and that "country music" you heard wasn't country it was Bob Seeger from the 70's and it was considered Rock and Roll. You should look that up you might like it.
Why do they go bow first into the dock? Is it because they're not experienced. I seem them jumping out to pull the stern into the dock and many time it ge😮ts away from. IDK
We have Beaver lake in northwest Arkansas. There’s more current when the dam is generating. The real problem here is the wind. We drive the boat onto the trailers here and the wind and/or boat traffic waves can push you away from your trailer destination 😂
