i have a black lab she is the sweetest. she is 9 yet everyone thinks she is a pup because she is so small and has no greys yet. i am so grateful she has never barked and you could literally pull her tail and she would just look back at you concerned. she would never hurt a soul. just shows how great british labs are. plus how great dogs are in general.

Great names! We've had 2 Molly's, 2 Maggie's, Yeller, Ellie, Annie, Gracie, Libby, Lucy, Emma, Sammi, Shelbie, Jenny, Elsa and now Raney. Thirty-nine years married this year, there's always been a lab, or seven, in our house.😂

I had two chocolate lab brothers and they were the best. They both passed, one from cancer at 12 and one old age at 13. I miss them.😢 will be getting a baby choco soon.😊

@@Stella_M3they chew everything and a ton of energy at first, but after the first 2 to 3 years, all of our labs have become the most chill little cuddle buddies. Just need opportunity to exercise. Walks/runs and water make them happy 😊

We have a black lab that is coming up on 1.5 years. What a beautiful, amazing, loving, playful pup she is. I feel like I've been missing out on this breed for years now, and will never have any other breed after this. Such a loving, beautiful, amazing breed!

How did you get on with the training? Or boy's almost 13 now & we love him dearly but he was basically untrainable b/c Chocolate Labs are renowned for being very intelligent but equally strong willed & if they don't want to do it, they ain't doing it. As the vet said to us when he was about 10 weeks old "you never see a visually impaired person with a Chocolate Lab for that very reason."

I have two chocolates. They get much bigger! My oldest is 7 years old and weighs 85 lbs and my youngest is 11 months and getting close to the older one in size. Wonderful family dogs! Terrific around kids.

Seeing this really makes me miss my best friend Bilbo, he was a black Labrador with traces of chocolate lab and rottweiler in him and he was my best friend for 13 years until we sadly put him down on July 20th earlier this year. I still like I lost a part of myself with him and I still find it hard to move on, but seeing vids like these always remind me of when I still had him

I've been wanting a labrador. Grew up with a Norwegian Elkhound and she was the best, smartest and friendliest dog I ever had. As adult had rottweiler, american bulldog, 2 pitbulls. Now I'm just at point that I just want a friendly dog that I can possibly hunt with, hike with, play fetch with and just enjoy life with.
