Do a story about all the Dog being brought into food places. All the fake "service dogs". Every time I'm in a Starbuck or Publix there is a tons of dogs running around.
This is what happens when you don't hire the right kind of people, and when you don't have proper supervisory schedules. I've seen some nightmares in restaurants here, especially lately. Where are the quality people these places used to hire? I won't eat at a particular restaurant anymore because I witnessed one of the employees picking their nose before fixing a sandwich.
@@tf4606 People who are PROPERLY trained and management that upholds food safety guidelines. People who care about their jobs, and not just show up to put the hours in and treat it like an extension of their bedroom. People who have a sense of urgency. People who act professionally and treat the customers with respect, not people who act like thugs. I'm certified in my state for food safety and handling, and some of the people I see operating food service these days should not be allowed anywhere near food. Would you eat a sandwich that was prepared by someone who had just picked their nose and didn't wash their hands? Would you hire them?
I work in food service and I always wash my hands after picking nose at work. It is hard not to pick your for the duration of a shift although you make sure customers can't see you when you picking ur nose
Management is everything. There used to be a Long John Silver's in Cutler Bay on US1 and we knew the manager. He kept that restaurant in top notch order and it was always clean. It unfortunately closed many years ago. Decent restaurant service is becoming rarer now. The new generation has ruined it.
They have one that's about 15 minutes from where I live and I only really went there for the T-Mobile discounts. I literally saw flies go onto the cornbread and since then, i never went back even if i get a good discount. They might have to look into all of the locations in the states.
This is very sad. I understand that the manager’s and staff need to clean, but just wiping the surfaces down won’t make an infestation go away. It’s up to corporate to hire exterminators then send in a team to deep clean and possibly replace infested items/appliances. The manager’s were hired to do a job. Infestation is over their heads. If I was managing one of those places, I’d probably call corporate to say I wasn’t opening the doors until they send in exterminators and cleaning teams.
Boston market can't even afford to pay their employees or vendors. A lot of locations are closing because the owner of the company doesn't care about the company or their employees. Probably too broke to even pay pest control. Boston Market just needs to close all locations. I met some great people working at BM , but it is an embarrassment of a "restaurant "
Agree the workers were cool but the managers were donkey's,they clocked us out while we were still working. Then have nerve to argue like you're wrong no integrity.
I will just continue grocery shopping as I always do by purchasing my unprepared food, bringing it all home to prepare and cook everything myself. I do not have any of that nastiness here. I have worked at various fast food restaurants, but none that had any of these violations. If any of them had, i would longer work there for fear of bringing any of the rodents home with me.
Their is a restaurant in Destin Florida that is called Bochamps on the harbour and every spring they empty the entire restaurant and bar of everything and clean and scrub the entire place from top to bottom and then put everything back inside and open for spring break . When was the last time you saw that done buy a restaurant .
This is disgusting! We used to eat at the Hollywood location. Key word: *_used_* to... Never again -- at *_any_* Boston Market. Channel 10 keeps making me want to forego eating out *_anywhere._*
@@WanderingRationalist Yeah, luckily, I have been lately. Channel 10 is keeping me skinny. LOL When I cook, I cook organic, and I know what's in the things I eat. I even make my own butter now.
This is how they live at home the manager is to blame and if you go to his/her home it will be as bad as the restaurant and they want top dollar for paychecks . Franchise owners should be fined from corporate but they don’t care either it is all about the money not your health.
these chains use crime and homelessness for their closures....but usually it is a result of poor management from the "top level"....it is useless to blame store management if proper internal inspections were performed on a regular basis....do you agree?
The managers they hire suck as well and you're right you're only as good as your leader. I quit one of their restaurants in north Florida because they low down managers clock you out while working all I can say is God don't like low downess.
Lmao, i used to work at Boston market for 6 years, I was a manager. I can confirm this is exactly how things are, no one cares, they don't pay you, and we had crickets and roaches all throughout the restaurant, you can act unprofessional with a customer and nothing would happen to you. No wonder they all shut down.
Well when you don’t get paid or you get paid when they feel like paying you and they no longer pay eco lab or anyone else to keep rodents out this happens. Most employees on these videos have been working for this company for over 10 years. So all of this would fall on the owner not the employees who do their best with what they are given. Granted I did quit when we got a letter I’m the mail from eco lab saying they will not longer be coming to the building to do there monthly spray to keep rodents out because they haven’t received payment and when my checks where more than a week late for the third time
But i'm pretty sure part of their job description is cleanliness and maintenance of the store. All of those rodents and insects didn't show up all at once. It was because of weeks, if not months of neglect and properly cleaning of the store and equipment. It is the employee's fault.
Pretty poor reporting anybody would be reluctant to speak to you in the manner you approach. Should try another way this like tryna get click baits and views on the RU-vid channel no wonder less people watch the news lol can’t even get an interview from a restaurant manager just bickering back n forth like children 😂
