I like both ideas, but the pins especially. Many of my cleats are spaced pretty far apart, and not consistently, so a key wouldn't be practical for my setup. On the other hand, all my cleats are about the same height, so pins would work for all my holders no matter where I put them. Both are a super-simple and practical idea, thanks!
Nice. Until you notice those youtube woodworking channels just assume everything to be exact as beeing cut by a cnc machine. Your reality likely isnt and it wont fit or will rattle.
the problem here is that you can knock out the module by accident when taking something or juste passing by. yesterday i made my drill module fall when i grabed the drill, so i had to look for every single bit in the shop.
