I've always been curious about that, shame since the sticky up hair has always been one of his main features appearance wise, guessing they didn't have any hair gel on set so they just went with his hair being down... or to make him seem more different to Matt's Doctor with sticky up hair, no clue
Ya see how David waits for Matt to lead? Class act.

But the way Matt smiles though...like a school girl having a crush hehehe . Love these two. They get along so fucking well. Would love to see them working on something else together honestly.
Matt: *Looks at David, chuckles, and slides down wall* David: *starts talking* Matt:*Looks up, notices that David is taller then him when he leans on the wall* David:*Still Talking* Matt:*Still leaning on the wall, contemplating about what David is saying* David:*Stops talking* Matt:*Starts talking* David:*Chuckles and listens* Matt: *Stands up straight so he will be as tall as David* THEY ARE LIKE A MARRIED COUPLE ME LIKE ME LIKE ME LOVE
True, though when it comes to The Doctor and The Master, it takes a while to find some fanfics that actually have them fight... they're usually doing something * ahem * else... lol
pfft Well... there are countless fanfictions of varying qualities and... subject matters. Though if you want good fanfiction I am one who could reccomend. Like I've read this particularly nice piece with 10 and the Master as adversaries that's also a Doctor Who crossover. And this shorter story with 4 and a weeping angel
There's also a video of Matt hugging Benedict somewhere on RU-vid, it's adorable. Both actors know him, which is awesome! The BBC is one happy family :D
If you watch another interview where they're just discussing John Hurt, you can clearly tell that both were like fanboying over John Hurt, like literally on the set XD
Oh god. I'm laughing at how late David finished his sentence. He said ( to be back doing something that was such a huge part of my everyday....................life.
when actors love the character they play, understand the lore of the series (and understanding that they're 'merely' one cog in the wheel, one piece of the larger picture, that it's not all, and solely, about THEM!!), and love & respect the fans....it's a beautiful thing :)
It's funny; under every Doctor Who Behind-The-Scenes Video or Interview I turn on, there is at least one person to be surprised that David Tennant is not English. Not that I want to belittle or run down those people; it's just something I noticed and find slightly amusing.
He fakes his accent for a lot of the things he acts in I was surprised that he had a Scottish accent but I loved and how he can change it like that is awesome
Lol yeah. I kind of find it unfair tho, how when David was playing the doctor he had to switch to an English accent whereas when Peter was playing the doctor he was allowed to keep his scottish one. Isn't that weird?
Tristen Prescott he was happy to do a traditional English accent as he said he enjoys an element of a character that isn’t his own such as his own accent even his Broadchurch accent isn’t his natural accent.
does anyone kinda feel like you were missing something when watching the 50th anniversary? i felt like it was due to the 9th doctor (Eccleston) not being there. i felt like not having the doctor that started new who and felt the most hurt (haha jokes) by his actions in the time war, was a big let down. yes i know the whole reason why he left and its a shame really. But it really does make the 50th feel like its missing something. Its probably just me being biased since the 9th was my first doctor. I just wish he would've said yes. it would feel in a way complete to me. does anyone else feel that way?
Kas True he was up for it, enough to entertain the idea and personally meet with Moffat but when it comes down to it, it was Moffat's fault for not creating a script that would do his Doctor justice (enough for Eccleston to want to reprise the role). From Moffat's interviews he said that he basically had the 9th Doctor playing John Hurt's role as the Doctor who fought in the Time War which doesn't really fit at all.. I don't blame Eccleston for turning that down.
MEga EXplain I always thought the 50th anniversary was both difficult and fantastic to watch. I always believed either McGann or Eccleston or both should have returned to respect the history of the show although I still love John Hurt's performance. But Hurt's incarnation was still wasted. Now there are two doctors (McGann and Hurt) that have had less that 2 hours of screen time which is annoying. McGann would've been my number one pick to come back. Although Eccleston would've been great too.
That's true, I randomly watched an episode with Tom Baker as the 4th doctor when he and Sarah Jane and some other guy were on a spaceship with a weird alien bug that tried to take over and it fits. It was a good arc.
Oh my god, I just realised... Tom Hiddleston as the Doctor. That would be fucking amazing. In my opinion I might have just found a competator for Tennant.
Love these two...two of my absolute favorites...the 9th doctor is my other favorite. The very first Doctor Who epsode that got me into the show was "Blink."
Vae In this video it's not, because this was filmed back when they were filming the 50th, but he did wear a wig in Time of the Doctor. So did Karen Gillan. Both She and Matt had to shave their heads for other filming roles.
He needed it long for a production he was shooting right afterwards as Richard II that required that extensions could be put on it for the role and at the length it had to be the gel they used to spike up his hair wouldn't work. Its actually similar to Smiths Off hair the episode after as he had gone Bald for charity and so wore a wig in his last outing as 11.
I'm watching Hartnell's era on Who now and it's extremely interesting! There are some base similarities but in many ways, the Doctor has evolved since then and the basis of the show - on some levels - has changed during Moffat's era in particular.
I really liked this video I thought it was really good Matt and David talking to an interviewer about the 50th anniversary and how the doctor will last for a while. David is so funny when it started he's all I'm suprised that this suit still fits I'm like of course it still fits David your still skinny and it still looks sharp on you ^_^ David also has the best look on his face Matt said in a nother video that David gets more ladies then he ever did lol
