You just can’t beat early 2010’s man. Truly an underrated time of music.

My big brother taught me how to play guitar and immersed me in the world of music. This was one of the songs he showed me about 10 years ago. TDCC has been my favorite band ever since. 6 years ago my brother killed himself, I never hear this song without thinking of my brother. But it doesnt make me sad, listening to this song (and the whole album) feels like getting a hug from a very good, old friend.

My younger and tougher sister and God Mother to my first and only baby, who shares a birthday one day apart from hers, passed away 9 months ago today. This was one of her fav songs, and Everytime I have been confronted by a trial or challenge following I found this song reminded me of her, HER BRAVE! I WANNA SEE ME BE BRAVE TOO! Honestly, she was beyond that! Strong and beautiful and brilliant too! I miss her everyday and this approachong new year untouched by her life and love is some times, some days and almost every other passing too much I believe to handle or hurdle through, but thank remember she wants to see me be brave, and I have to for our little man, if she can I can. And I will and stand as the only one who actually can. I'm my father's last daughter out of 3 and him and my son need me to be. Look after us sis, your so dearly missed and I'm not anywhere close to your consistent independence but I certainly will try because you always have more confidence in me than I saw for myself, hopefully k can embody that vision and begin to see myself the way you always had. Thank you for the time you gave me and I'm always grateful however brief, for the strength and resilient your ever outstretched hand in my regard. I look up to you in life and now in spirit too.
