Amy I’m a stay at home mom to 2 under 2 and I love to cook dinner early too. I use nap time to cook which leaves me with the rest of the day to play and care for my babies. Once it’s dinner time we eat instead of running around in the kitchen trying to make dinner on time with two babies....who are usually a bit cranky. Sooo much easier!
My sweet dear friend, you have me smiling and laughing this morning as you hand “us” your candles to smell. I love how you try to include us in your home. You are adorable young lady!! God bless you. Please have a fantastic weekend!!
I don't know anyone who decorates for seasons other than a Jack o' Lantern for Halloween and then our Thanksgiving which really starts the Christmas season decorating here in the U.S. Seasonal decorating is catching on though, driven by Pinterest and retail stores. Get ready....if it is here, it'll get there. Enjoy your weekend.🙂
Eating 2 meals a day and healthy snacks is how I eat. It works out fine and help keeping me on track with meal prepping. Way to go Ruby!!! Protecting your domain! That's why she gets gifts too!
I love all your Autumn decor i have decided if I decorate Autumn colours all year so be it. Heck I live in a rental with floral carpet & floral curtains - anything goes really considering it's Spring here. Lol I cook and bag meals because there's not a large family here so it's bagged in serving sizes. I used to slow cooker ready for when I got home but due to our situation that rarely worked well. We all do what works for each of us. I remember my Mum defrosting chickens on the bench which we'd never do now. Times change, families change, I know I've left milk out overnight in winter and it's been fine, colder than from refrigerator. Thanks Amy.
Amy, I wanted to check in on your family and see if the hurricane is going to affect where your family lives? I’ve been praying for all of my RU-vidrs in the path of the storm. I enjoyed your video as always. I’m very seriously thinking of meal prepping for my husband and I. Have a Blessed day. ❤️ Rosa from Pasadena, Texas

Good morning Amy Love your fall decorating; so festive. Your food always looks so delicious. The two meals a day with snacking of fruits, veggies etc sounds like a terrific plan for me. It’s kind of the way I eat now. Thanks for sharing, appreciate it. Have a fantastic and blessed day.
Your very welcome the short Squirtle makes the best peanut butter sandwiches it is the best when making a bunch of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!!! The wide short one for the peanut butter and the skinny short one for the jelly enjoy ,love to watch you cook❤
Love your simple fall decorations! I keep it simple also; I think the only think extra I do is adding fall kitchen towels and fall guest towels in the bathroom.
So true, where we are stepping out into the unknown discovering purpose, it can be scary. But there's nothing better than partnering with the FATHER on this life journey. Another great video. ❣

Good evening Amy! Spaghetti bake recipe sounds great. Thanks for sharing your day of food and decorating. Hafa adai and love from the island of Guam 🌴💕🌴
I love seeing how you do your day. I don't even have half of your energy right now lol. One day. I'll get there. Also thinking I will one day get that cooking set and spurtles (my Farberware has served me well, but I love the non-stick you have and am still fairly new to cooking, even though I'm older than you... I was a single mother and did a LOT of takeout. Now I'm a student again and trying to do better.) I am wondering what you do with your trash now? I'm sure you have mentioned it before, but I don't remember. I spent my day with pain pills and sleep ... getting older has not rid me of cramps yet, but I'm trying to be thankful for not having bad hot flashes yet! I am blessed even in my pain, for it could be worse. Thank you for being a good example to others, and just being real. I appreciate you. Blessings
Hi Amy going to put taco soup in the crockpot tomorrow morning. Have the taco meat cooked and in the fridge just have to put it all together so easy and very yummy. Was in the low sixties where I am in Ohio. Be safe in my prayers🌻 ❤🤗
Amy, can you please tell me where you got your spurtles from? I know you told us the website you got them from in your other video you posted of things you bought on your trip but I can't remember the name of it. I really want to get some not only because they look great to use but I have small hands and the handles on those look like they will fit so much better in my hand.
If that is the current issue of Taste of Home Magazine I have a recipe that was published in the issue for my Copycat KFC Coleslaw Recipe. I won 1st prize for that recipe several months ago. I am an ambassador for Taste of Home representing KY so I have had several recipes published. Try my Cole Slaw Recipe if you like KFC Slaw.
Just a question…why are you slow cooking the baked spaghetti all day when all the components of the baked spaghetti are cooked? Why not just prep the baked spaghetti with all the cooked components and layering it in a baking dish/foil pan.. cover it with foil and place in a cold oven and set the oven timer to start to warm it at a specific time. doesnt make sense to do it the way u did.
I just can't imagine some types of meals sitting in an oven on low all day, or a casserole kept on warm for hours not being dried out and bacteria building up in it. It would be nice to have dinner done by 7 am, but I can't imagine the quality being what it should be. I am not trying to be mean, it's a great concept, but I would worry about quality.
I don't..it is about what you have time for in your day ...most people eat out and grab fast food and a lot of convenience foods ..you do what you can do for your home ❤️
Time and temperature is a thing even for buffets and salad bars. It totally depends on what the food is and how it's prepared and held. How many of us have eaten pizza that was left out all night? How many have bought a rotisserie chicken or eaten from a buffet? A fast food joint? Some of those places just use open pans with a heat bulb hanging above it. Are we 100% positive that all USDA policies and recommendations are followed exactly? When food is kept warm at a constant temperature in a crock pot , it's usually safe. That's what they are made for. Warm in the oven doesn't mean left on the counter at room temperature. I know I use my crock pot and insta pot to hold food alot . If it's prepped correctly, it won't dry out. It's a wonderful tool to have.
I can only speak for myself in saying my job or other things in my schedule keep me from making meals right at meal time. The rest of the family still needs to eat , so I cook meals before I leave. I always felt it was better than eating take out or microwavable tv dinners. You gotta do what your schedule gives you time for. If that means I have to cook early in the morning because I won't have time in the evening, that's what I do. It's what works for your family and the day. The family is fed and happy, all the necessary activities are attended, supper is ready and we stay out of the drive through. It really does free up time when you need it to.
