Another great reaction! Let me recommend two songs. One is Duran Duran - "Ordinary World". I absolutely love that song! The other is one I have recommended before and will continue to recommend (just like I did with "Crimson Queen" until you reacted to it!), and that is The Warning - "REVENANT". Happy to acknowledge I was in middle school when this came out. The girls went absolute nuts over this, but frankly, so did the guys. I was a fan too. Lol The bassline is killer, the beat very danceable. These guys were just legendary!

This group has been together for 40 years. They still perform today in their 60s and are almost as popular as in the 80s. They have a new album out since Oct 2021. They are on tour now in America if you want to go see them.

Duran Duran is still making music and touring. I fell in love with them when I was 10 years old and I’m now 50. I’m finally going to see them in concert next week. I can’t wait!!!!
All the 80’s pop bands/songs like Duran Duran was hot for the girls in my high school years. The girls all wanted to look good, hot and sexy the 80’s styles etc. LoL 😂 👍
7:40 very good point. Though Disco had faded out by the time Duran Duran came around, you can hear elements of Disco and funk that was still present in their music in the 80's.that kept us dancing!
Great song. You have got to do "Hungry like the wolf". You will love it. It gets you moving. It is about a guy who's so attracted to a woman that he must fund her, making ing him like a wolf.

Ah, the 80s. My era! Plus, loved Duran Duran (and Spandau Ballet... and many others! Ooh, Nik Kershaw! Ultravox!). The Reflex is an incredible song (their most successful single and second #1 in the UK), but I adored all of their output ('Wild Boys' is another favorite). And they're still going strong today.
There is just nooo way to get across in communicating how epic and popular this song and this band were when it came out. It shaped the fashion world, the entertainment industry, and held the modern world in its grasp for over half a year.

Duran Duran was notorious for their antics. They drove the girls crazy in the the 80's. I saw them in concert once. They even had girls in their band just to make naughty girl noises.

Great job ladies, I am old enough to have aeen that show during that tour in Miami and this video couldnt be stopped, Mtv had to retire it from the Friday night video contestz nothing touched it, DD got lunped into the video band because they took such pride in their visuals, but the most important thing was they are and continue to be a GREAT live band which is why they stood the test of time when a lot of their 80s peers vanished.
I remember this era when digital technology was first appearing in studios. New sounds that were impossible before were now being put on every record and it was so fun. The world is a very dark place compared to this era. I hope we can get back to a much more carefree world.
