Awesome video. Congrats! Question for you. I prospect for gold in Vermont. We have more magnetite, black sands, than any other state in NE. I noticed you got hits & were surprised to get gold. Were you expecting a bullet? Does the GB2 distinguish by sounds, the difference between gold, iron, lead, silver? How does it perform in areas that loaded with iron gravels? I hope to get either the Whites GM or the GB2. You do very well with the GB2. Keep up the good work. With videos too.
It's a set up... Lol. He finds a flake, and go's for the bigger noise nugget. Then don't even check if there's still naby a signal. He knew what he had planted there.
I just ordered a Flacon MD-20. I also run a White's MXT but want to change the 950 coil to a 4"DD. Will be hunting with Kevin Hoagland this January if time permits.
+GoldRadioTalk Internet Radio Talk Show That should be fun ! Certainly make the time to hunt with Kevin if you can. I enjoy the radio shows too , thank you . The Gold Bug II is kinda like its own pin pointer, so I dont use one myself. Have fun dude !
The Fisher Gold Bug II is wicked.......You cant go wrong.... I just used a Gold bug pro the other day , and it cant come close to a Gold Bug II`s sensitivity or stability
Great Video.. I looking at getting a GB2.. started watching some videos... So I have yet to see any of your other videos... This one from 2012.. Is the GB@ still alive and kicking A$$? Sub'd ya.. Happy Hunting
This was a pretty old video , You may not be able to hear it or its just down low. I generally turn it down to where its just chattering, and not quite a hum

Hey, I recently owned the Whites GMZ, I sold it because people talked it down, and I got a fair price. Two weeks later I came across a ML Eureka Gold and got it. I noticed my air test would be 2 inches max on .7 G with the GMZ. It was slightly more, about 2.5in on the Eureka, however with headphones I was getting it the .7 G at 3.5 to 4in. Have you ever tried a Eureka, if so how was it? I only go to the San Gabriel EF, the terrains rough, have you ever detected there, any advice, I'm 0 for 5? TY
Do you have any tips on using the thing? I've been doing normal detecting with mine but don't know much on adjusting settings for finding gold, and not much online except for stuff on the 2 and the pro.
TheHazeonator all metal, manual ground balance / light treshold if your machine allow it and the maximum sensitivity. This is not a gold ring, natural gold can have a extremely low vdi so dig everything whit the distinctive "zip zip".
a beauty ? awesome? i've seen boogers bigger than that picker - oh well, i guess better than nothing - and since this is a video from 2012 i understand your comment that a PI would not pick that [ in most cases ] ; well, it is 2019 and with a Miner John 6" coil on a Whites PI i have found pickers 8" in the ground !
