France on Trial sounds very interesting. It's not in the local library catalog, but there's always interlibrary loans. I read Jhumpa Lahiri's In Other Words in 2016 and really loved it.
Uwe Neumahr wrote a book about the journalists covering the Nuremberg Trial, the book's title is The Castle of Writers - Das Schloss der Schriftsteller. Some names are Rebecca West, Erika Mann, John dos Passos. I got it from the library and did not get far but that is more testament to me borrowing too many books than the book not being good. English translation is not published yet but rights are sold.
