I agree it’s not always appropriate to compare advance stats directly but in addition to those stats he had a higher seed with his second best player missing time. Plus his on/off numbers are absolutely absurd so we get WHY he won. Still team Luka over here.

@@94FeetProd. As I said before, comparing +/- across rosters is misleading, so that's not relevant. What it says is Danver has a shitty bench. We already knew that. Luka had his second best player missing time, too, but in addition to that, the Mavs missed key rotation players throughout the season (way more than Denver had) and and his stats were still better than Jokic, and the same argument was applied against Luka when he had better stats and a higher seed in 2022. You can't have it both ways. Either Luka deserved the MVP over Jokic in 2022 or he did this year, but one of those is fraudulent and belongs to Luka. I will die on this hill, mother effer
